Hello, I didn't use the roll-up keyboard as anything more than it was. I'm unsure if you can use them in conjunction with a computer or not but I had a HUGE flute case (it held 8 fully-assembled flutes and 4 piccolos) that I had the keyboard on and had nowhere to put my laptop at the time so I put it on the case by the keyboard!
Hello, for 1 I am a female, not a male so it should be "she" and now "he". For 2, it didn't come with software nor did it have a plug to plug it into the computer. The only way I see such an instrument (the roll-up keyboard) connecting to the computer at all is if you can connect from the headphone jack to the computer. I explained MANY months ago (read comments above) that I only had the computer near the keyboard as I had nowhere else to put it at the moment.
AND, if anyone was curious, I had the keyboard AND laptop computer on top of a GIANT flute case that held 8 fully assembled flutes and not on a table.
Thanks! I only took beginning keyboard in high school but dabble. Not so much anymore though since I got rid of my piano and need to hunt down my roll-up keyboard...
it's probly just the video. I don't know if it's utube or just some recordeing programs and that kinda thing but every now and than I get my aoudio and video out of sink.
Some notes have tuning a little bit off & the range isn't as high as most pianos but they're not bad if you can't have an actual piano and need to practice. You can also plug headphones into the roll-ups and practice quietly.
But I connected this piano to pc with a cable...? Plese answer me soon becouse I want buy this piano but I need connected it to pc for rec directly on my pc...tanx
thats cool... i love the technology!... i remember having a big yamahaa piano when i was 10, im 19 now.. and i looove all the things u can buy cheap.. hehe i´ve always wanted a light up piano..now there is the synthisia, omg.. is amazing..
Unfortunately I have NO CLUE! The roll-up keyboard I have has a port for the charger (DC6V), headphones and 'out ext sp'. I'm thinking that the suspend pedals require some sort of amp port? Other roll-up keyboards may offer additional ports... Thanks!
No, sorry, I had my laptop sitting on the gigantic flute case which I used to make the sound clip. I think there are ways to connect them to the computer though.
Thank you for posting this! I was researching online for something to buy. The only way I've been able to ID the brand from pics online is from the electronic part at the right end. Since I can't see it in the view screen, is this "Roller"? Sorry if I've missed the brand name here, just running out the door! :)
That is cool. I just got one (got to the store at 4am to get it!) and I hope it is just as cool (I need to buy batteries for it). I figure I will practice piano more if I'm not lugging around some giant keyboard. :)
is this the brando USB roll up piano? ive read a couple reviews that said there was a noticeable lag between the keypress and the sound, did you experience any of this? just curious cuz ive been wanting one, thanks
I am pretty sure that they're pretty standard where no matter how hard you hit the sensors the sound is still the same loudness. Mine is like that anyhow, not sure of the others!
ha....ur talking to like 7 dif ppl on aim. lol. i need one, cuz i'm always on the go and, i obviously can't take a piano on the road with me. i mean, does it make playing harder? do u know if u can buy, like, attachable pedals or accesories for it? i just wish it was the full 88 kesy....
As of right now I don't think they make these keyboards with attachable pedals nor any accessory options other than the option for headphone output. I don't think it makes playing harder but I'd say that sometimes it makes you pay attention a little more to finger placement as you can't really tell where exactly you're pressing at times but it's not that difficult.
Thanks for writing! I think it's worth buying if you're unable to have an actual keyboard or upright piano. I think they make them in different sizes with different ranges. So far I've seen the "49" and 61 key sizes. The 49 key is a 61 w/o counting the black keys.
My question is if it's worth while buying this? I must admit, I'm interested in getting one. Also, does it come in different sizes, that is a different number of keys?
Hi, Yes a little strange, and no with the computer. I had nowhere else to put my laptop at the time and the keyboard is transportable and runs on batteries and you can take it anywhere. Thanks!
Hey Dennis! The number of keys on this roll-up keyboard are 49 and none of the keys are raised. It's basically flat all around the entire keyboard... Interesting, eh? Suzie
it has midi out. yes it will play on fl studio

can u change the type of sound the keyboard makes? like from piano to violin to organ to saxophone or whatever?? or does it just sound like an organ?
chrisjrrr 2 years ago
Hello, there are many different sounds produced by this keyboard including what I BELIEVE is an accordion tone!

how is the performance of roll up ,,is it like the same of normal piano ,,??

Are these touch sensitive by any chance?
crazypianolady 3 years ago
Yes... They're touch sensitive to work and I think you can play louder the harder you press
foreverwoodwinds 3 years ago
I doubt you can hook a sustain pedal up to it, that would require a 1/4 Inch Jack most likely.
However if you're playing into your computer I'm sure there's a way you could sustain with software.

You should tell us what brand this keyboard is so that we know WHICH keyboard ur talking about exactly!
That would be very helpful! Is it the brando one?

Dose this piano have sustain capability ? or is all the sounds staccato.
PIANOMAN720 4 years ago
its a KEYBOARD, not a piano..
it may have a sustain option, but I wouldnt count on it in this small keyboard.

Hmmm, im not sure about this. Being a pianist for the past 10 years i think it would be awkward working with flat keys.
dynhamik 4 years ago
Slightly awkward, I agree however the same concept remains so it's not incredibly different. I suggest trying one, they're kind of neat!
