@Knicksboy792 In my opinion, the easiest way to turn fractions to percents is to divide the numerator(top number) by the denominator(bottom number). When you divide 3 by 25, you get 0.12. Now, you move the decimal place two places to the right. This gives you 12. Therefor, 3/25=12%

the example in the video was 3/20. What times 20=100? 5 right. now do 3 x 5=15. so it is 15%

For another example 4/25. 25 times what = 100. 4 right. now do 4 x 4=16 so its 16%

For everyone who is confused, the N represents an unknown number. Like what is the percentage of 32 out of 160, 160=n because it has not yet been solved, its best to just put nothing there. now just multiply 32 a 100 times, which would be 3200, now you divide your original denominator (160) by 3200. Which is 20. SO! N=20, so 32 is 20% of 160. its quite simple, its just the letter confused you guys.

the way i do it is: if i have this sum to work with, i just multiply 20 with 5, and 3 with 5, and after that you just take away the denomenator completely and boom-theres your answer!

What you do on the denominator you must do on the numerator...

You need a 100 for the denominator...so

To get 100 on the denominator you multiply by 5 because 20 times 5 is 100

Now do the same for the numerator, 3 times 5 is 15 so your answer is 15/100 which is 15% or 15 of a 100

you just divide the numerator by the denominator and divide the answer by 100.

this method works for all possible fractions.

numerator=the top number in the fraction

denominator=the bottom number in the fraction
