@Rhonda, if Monica Theodorescu trained Alexanrra Korelova, I am not surprised. I was delighted, indeed inspired, by seeing the quality of the gaits of Whisper, with Monica, before Monica and Whisper were enlisted by Germany.

This horse is obviously correctly, humanely trained and developed. I was only disappointed by his extended walk. I especially like that his front and hind canons are parallel in ALL trot work, and that his hindlegs are so active in canter, even in canter pirouettes. I would like to know who trained this rider.

26 апреля 2011 года на Кубке Нижегородской области я разговаривал с Александрой Кореловой.На этапе Кубка Мира в этом году в Нижнем Новгороде она как участница к сожалению не выступит,скоре всего.Все дело в лошадке!Очень сожалею что у нас нет такого коня как Балагур!Хотелось бы очень чтоб Александре все таки помогли с лошадкой!Ведь она заняла 6 место на Олимпиаде в Китае!

Alexandra Korelova and Balagur TOTALLY outclassed both Isabell & Anky that day.

Amazing horse that Balagur.

I watched Isabell & Satchmo's performance in the individual finals at Beijing 2008 - and I was appalled that she won the silver. How is that Isabell's horse Satchmo - who so obviously had a flawed performance (he looked like he was about to EXPLODE) ended up with a score of 75.2 that day??

The dressage judging was a travesty at the Olympics that year.

A shame really.

Bulky fella Balagur is! But I love thier ride - the rider doesn't have an overly strong contact, the horse has nice carriage, and Balagur can actually match the action of his front legs with his back legs! Get that! lolz, his action is a little exaggerated. He could be a little more supple on the half pass, though. D:P

I love that horse and looks like his rider does too. I love the way she gives him a big hug and kiss at the end and undoes his noseband as soon as she gets off. A wonderful partnership.
