Excellent! I commend Speilberg for compiling all these films...there are many who deny all this still. Or do not see that all of us are already tied to the future of this nation. It was always so.

Jerry, we are in complete agreement! I must have written my comment poorly so as to cause such a misreading of it. I, as a Jew, am proud that there are many Jewish actors -- just like you mention that there are many Greeks in the Restaurant business. I in no way meant that to be a negative comment.

What I was saying, is that because of the still rampant anti-Semitism even in the US, many Jewish actors didn't want to become associated closely with helping Palestine and the Jewish cause there.

Edward G Robinson was a Romanian Jew, as were SO MANY actors (which is still the case).

Absolutely EXCELLENT acting though -- Robinson was at top form, I bet it took him all of 1 take -- and I especially liked that he had NO qualms whatsoever (as many other Jewish actors did unfortunately) to "outing himself" as a Jew and further, pleading for $ for

PALESTINE -- note "modern day Palestinians" -- that word was used for the JEWS living there until you appropriated (stole) it in the late 1960's.

@FrumiousFalafel 1) So what if there are a lot of Jewish actors - do you also begrudge that Greeks dominate the restaurant industry, blacks dominate sports, etc. 2) Robinson would not have done this fund raising ad if he did not feel passionate about the cause - which was one that was a very high priority for Jews, As far as "outing himself" it's a shame that many Jews had to have pseudonyms to escape anti-semitism. 4) The Arab gambled with land by waging war in 1967 & lost - the spoils of war.
