I'm in my 50's and have loved the Titanic story all my life and I'm glad to be able to remember this great ship 100 years after it sank.It is a beautiful ship even when sleeping as it is now. Stupid Human error put the Titanic in its final resting place!
Titanic was 9/11 of its' day. Many "titans" of finance against establishing a central bank,th FED, were aboard like John Astor. The FED, after many failed attempts and been kicked out of the country twice, was reestablished the following year 1913. They looted and manipulated the finances of the US and brought in '29depression Why? Its' charter was coming up for renewal and they created chaos- people said "Save Us" like they are now and did on 9/11..we got Patriot Act and gave up our rights.
Its sad about the Titanic but i do think, their is a lot more hidden info about the ship its no secret White Star Line was having money difficulties after building Olympic and my opinion is that the Olympic was built properly and had the money spent on everything safety, luxuries and technology but Titanic, got the luxuries and cheaper materials to build with, and then Britannic came along at an even worst time for the white star line and then both Titanic and Britannic sunk, I blame White Star.

@sacramentolove The reason they never took it out of the sea in the first place is because people died on that ship. They sunk with it, so they stayed with it. This made it a graveyard/tomb so they weren't allowed to move, or touch it really. Or that would be dessecrating a grave.

@sri15v it would never happen now, technology has replaced, the Human on stag watch for iceburges, that couldnt see past his nose in the black of the night at sea.without his binoculars. There was too little time to react, so the film would suggest anyway. verdict: human error sadly
This ship was doomed since the day they claimed that it was unsinkable and that GOD could never sink it. This was not a love story it was a this was a masacre that should never have happened. Only the rich assholes survived well the poor where stuck or may have even been lock in the hull of the ship.
@Andyjb6 The builders and owners of the white star line company didn't publicly state that titanic was unsinkable. They knew better than that. The statement became so because of the media and press. The belief that she was unsinkable was so strong people didn't want to get on the lifeboats
@Andyjb6 One of the survivors said her mother read a local newspaper that said it was "practically unsinkable" before boarding "to say it is unsinkable its like flying over the face of God". I've seem newspaper clippings that mention the Titanic being practically unsinkable. Aside from that, are you saying this good woman lied? I don't think so, and I'm sure Bruce Ismay would have confirmed it, if asked. Perhaps the White Star Line never claimed it was unsinkable, but many sure did.

I was at Harland & Wolff in 1999. All the old brick buildings along Queens Rd where Titanic was built under the gantry were still there, but now I think gone. Design building and gravings dock remain. I spoke to folks, and H&W's Sir Livingstone who advised James Cameron for the movie, in the main office. They said they still had a complete set of plans in every detail that could build another Titanic. Plans remained in a locked vault. Transatlantic liners were the best, cruiseships are a joke.

Does anyone here have a ticket for the 100th anniversary of the sinking of Titanic? Seriously, a liner is going to take the same route, play the same music, serve the same food as Titanic and pay respects at the area it sank. Really something special, those tickets aren't cheap but there's a few left. April 10th 2012

i used to live where it was build, Belfast. I think the fake movie they made is a little sad but its not showing us what really happened (appart from it sinking) I have done alot of research and yes some of those pictures are of its sister Olympic and i totally agree with Giratina386 about people seing pictures of any ship with 4 funnels and calling it the Titanic.
this whole titanic tragedy happened because of one simple reason.. GREED!!! people should have already learned their lessons on how greed can bring about such devastation and even getting innocent lives involved in it..

No matter what ship was that, these fatal events are an example of how human ambitions ofprogress can destroy lives and futures, leaving a painful feeling of sadness and fear. Nevertheless, there is always hope and people who can help you go on anf think that we can spend our lives trying to build a better world where the real ambition is helping each other and promote love as the most important element ot heal our hearts.

It sucks that in a few years from now the ocean barnacles and stuff will eat the ship away. And we can't take it out of the ocean because it would just fall apart. The titanic will fall apart soon anyway. Especially watching the movie then seeing the Titanic all wrecked is sad, but the characters and the love story in the titanic weren't real. So that bugs me out.

@MNsportguru88 Yeah, I know that, I saw the sinking from the movie. But the survivors FROM the ship said it broke apart, and some it didn't. What the heck, how dumb can people be. If they're witnesses, they might as well tell the right thing. And it is a fact that it broke apart because the ship weighed thousands of tons on both sides, so if the stern was raised more than 45 degrees up in the air, of course it would split. And every ship gets christened after the dock.
@sacramentolove Precisely the reason why I refused to watch the movie. And I believe that I wont ever watch it. So many wonderful real stories about survivors and the movie couldn't be about any of them. I guess they wouldn't have made as much money had they shown a real love story with the mothers with kids who later survived. I guess happily ever after doesn't exist to the movie makers.
@sacramentolove In about 50-60 years, the remains of the ship will be gone. TRULY a memory. I always thought putting in JACK & ROSE was just to keep the NON historians interested in the 3 hour movie.
@batmanlooksgood Actually, the ship will be gone in another century, the scientists said so. And James Cameron put Jack and Rose in the movie because the Titanic was a disaster, and he thought that adding a love story would go perfect.
@sacramentolove What would have made a bigger impact on the Jack/Rose spin is if they had actually found a real love affair..BUT since the majority of the survivors are all passed on...
@batmanlooksgood I thought the director did a good job with his inclusion of various supposed historical facts as with some hearsay facts which made it quite interesting. Basing all of this around a love story at least to me was extremely artistic in a sense of building the story in reaching its climax. One of the more touching parts of the movie would be the violinists on the deck playing as long as they could amongst the kaos that was taking place.
well as i saw in the previous vids the last survivor (which btw can be seen to the right..) died at age 97 in 2009, who were 9 weeks at the journey, and i also thought some of the pics didnt contain titanic.. get your facts right!! or dont make a tribute vid, its like making a vid of michael jackson with pictures of janet..

i think it was a big government conspiracy. i dont think it really happened the way they said in official reports. all the evidence just does not add up..... way too many holes in their story......... i dont believe the ship was struck by airplanes..... if they were airplanes where were the windows? commercial jetliners have windows people!! where were the windows in those film clips? i think it was not planes, but missles.

Titanic was 1 of 3 giant ocean liners at her time. Two of them (Titanic and Olympic) looked almost identical, but had many differences. People nowadays see ANY ship with 4 funnels and they automatically call it Titanic. Make sure to do your research beforehand. :)

What annoys me about the whole thing is that if you had put a 3rd Class passenger in charge, many more lives would have been saved. The ship wouldn't have sunk if they had sailed straight into it. A good Captain should have made better decisions. The whole thing was stupid.

@Flamorgan My mistake. What I meant by 'start to finish' means maiden voyage was that maiden means first/first time to happen and voyage means 'trip' or in her case 'sail' but my point is that her maiden voyage was from start to finish!
@Flamorgan I do see what your saying. being that titanic did take off from belfast to southampton to pick up more paying passengers, but I think its the whole of the journey from start to finish which means maiden voyage, titanic did start from belfast but technically the last stop was NYC being that she had a deadline to get there for, her maiden voyage shall be from southampton to america.

It sucks that in a few years from now the ocean barnacles and stuff will eat the ship away. And we can't take it out of the ocean because it would just fall apart. The titanic will fall apart soon anyway. Especially watching the movie then seeing the Titanic all wrecked is sad, but the characters and the love story in the titanic weren't real. So that bugs me out.

@sacramentolove watch A Night to Remember 1958 I have a playlist of it on my channel it's the only Titanic movie made so far that goes by the true facts warning it does show Titanic sinking in one peice cause the werck wasn't found yet so there was still debate weather it broke in two or went down in one piece plus the opening is not true cause White Star never christened thier ships but they did invite people to the launching

@MNsportguru88 Yeah, I know that, I saw the sinking from the movie. But the survivors FROM the ship said it broke apart, and some it didn't. What the heck, how dumb can people be. If they're witnesses, they might as well tell the right thing. And it is a fact that it broke apart because the ship weighed thousands of tons on both sides, so if the stern was raised more than 45 degrees up in the air, of course it would split. And every ship gets christened after the dock.

@sacramentolove Precisely the reason why I refused to watch the movie. And I believe that I wont ever watch it. So many wonderful real stories about survivors and the movie couldn't be about any of them. I guess they wouldn't have made as much money had they shown a real love story with the mothers with kids who later survived. I guess happily ever after doesn't exist to the movie makers.

@batmanlooksgood I thought the director did a good job with his inclusion of various supposed historical facts as with some hearsay facts which made it quite interesting. Basing all of this around a love story at least to me was extremely artistic in a sense of building the story in reaching its climax. One of the more touching parts of the movie would be the violinists on the deck playing as long as they could amongst the kaos that was taking place.

well as i saw in the previous vids the last survivor (which btw can be seen to the right..) died at age 97 in 2009, who were 9 weeks at the journey, and i also thought some of the pics didnt contain titanic.. get your facts right!! or dont make a tribute vid, its like making a vid of michael jackson with pictures of janet..

i think it was a big government conspiracy. i dont think it really happened the way they said in official reports. all the evidence just does not add up..... way too many holes in their story......... i dont believe the ship was struck by airplanes..... if they were airplanes where were the windows? commercial jetliners have windows people!! where were the windows in those film clips? i think it was not planes, but missles.

This song reminds me of when I was a kid living in Toledo Ohio at the age of 5 and off the waters edge of a porch off of Lake Erie hanging off a cliff doing ice fishing on a summers night! Like a cartoon scene from the old Disney volt where Goofy and Donald were fighting for a fishing pole! The smurfs are also great characters! I just talked to Poppa Smurf a weekend ago and he says the Thunder Cats are doing well!

What annoys me about the whole thing is that if you had put a 3rd Class passenger in charge, many more lives would have been saved. The ship wouldn't have sunk if they had sailed straight into it. A good Captain should have made better decisions. The whole thing was stupid.

@Flamorgan My mistake. What I meant by 'start to finish' means maiden voyage was that maiden means first/first time to happen and voyage means 'trip' or in her case 'sail' but my point is that her maiden voyage was from start to finish!

@Flamorgan I do see what your saying. being that titanic did take off from belfast to southampton to pick up more paying passengers, but I think its the whole of the journey from start to finish which means maiden voyage, titanic did start from belfast but technically the last stop was NYC being that she had a deadline to get there for, her maiden voyage shall be from southampton to america.
