  • no matter how long i warm up my horse, she has a fast choppy trot, and i cant sit it... can u help me?

  • When I'm at school. I always can't wait until I get home, so I can ride my horse! School is SO long! ................It's..yeah 30 hours a week of school~ Uhhhhhh~

  • beautiful horse

  • A good postion is to sit straight and relax if your riding western... this obviously isn't western

  • @nanniehanna It is very western. Learn the facts before running your mouth.

  • @nanniehanna If you don't think it's western then you obviously know nothing about horse back riding.

  • @nanniehanna it obviously is western. look at the saddle?

  • please put the text in see through, im getting irritate at these kind of videos, the words mean nothing to a beginner, if it is supposed to be a video in order to make things clearer to understand, then please make sure it is a video. and not just text completely covering up the video it completely distroys the point of making it for beginners, so they may understand!!!, that is what the description box is for!! its not your fault if numpties dont know how to use youtube! lol

  • Well explained except for one little mistake. All major registries and associations require one-handed riding and a curb bit with any horse 5 and older.

I should mention that there are extra hackamore classes as well. Anyhow her rider still is a beginner and that's the topic of this video.

Besides for all the so called pro's. Western and English riding aren't so different. Cowboys are no meassurement for good riding. Some know riding; some just stay on the horse.

  • What's a good way on getting good riding posture? I slouch my back half the time and i'm gonna start horseback riding soon, and if i sit up straight for like a couple minutes, my back gets tired.. any good exercises anyone knows on getting good riding posture? would be great to reply back ^^

  • @KaylaXKarnage

Sounds like a lack of muscles. Easiest way would be swimming or sit ups. Lay flat on your back, soles of your feet on the ground and criss cross your arms in front of your chest (hands touching shoulders). Bring up the back from ground in a straight line. 3 - 4 inches is good enough. Repeat 50 times. do it daily and you should see a result within 2 weeks.

  • Looks like good advice to me.

  • What?! I grew up with a ton for friends who barrel raced professionally, my first horse was a cutting horse, my grandfather- the person who taught me to ride- broke his own horses for sheep herding in the upper rockies, + I just knew a ton of people who grew up on horses (and this is all western) and I NEVER heard of using two hands until I moved to the east coast where people rode English. I saw it in movies before then but- I always thought they were doing it wrong. This can't be true western

  • Is there a work out you can do so you don't feel so much pain when begining to ride? Thanks! :-)

  • check John Lyons vids

  • plz respond i need someadvice

  • want some good advice? find a diferent instructor to watch on horsemanship. she does english notwestern. two handed reining is considered an emabaresment in western riding. either you don't know how to ride or the horse is green broke. 5 years before it neck reins? better be doing it within 6 months.

Don't take my wordf for this watch any rodeo or ranch video on here and tell me how many people you see using two hands. better yet go ask any cowboy that works on a ranch.

  • look up we are coowboys if you want to see what I mean. watch the way they all ride. anyone want to argue go do it with these guys their the real deal.

  • oh thank you so much.i'm kinda beginner you see.your videos are great help.

  • Where is this trainer? Please respond.

  • This is very good instruction for english and wenglish style riding. True western is a bit different.

  • What a beautiful horse!

  • very well !! :) THANK U SO MUCH
