nice - I have arrived at my destination without a tripod, without a deck (back in BetaSP portable days), wihtout tapes (much easier to buy DV tapes than Beta tapes at your local drug store). The best was when our power supply short circuited. Luckily my colleague was able to solder a Radio Shack power supply to work with our Ikegami camera. The small cameras mean you no longer need to travel with 16 pieces of luggage! Ah the fun of travel.
