thats awesome. i am working on a ctf map and i was trying to figure out how to merge objects into the map that are movable this helped me out alot thnx
cool, really helpful, but other than making a grav-lift indestructible i can't see too many uses for this, i guess i'll have to get imaginative too bad it's such a long process
You wll be given a small timeframe once you start to go under ground as a spartan. Right after you go underground and can see the floow from beneath you need to hit up on the d-pad and change into the monitor.
i see... also, you ould have like non-typical-height cover things. ugh hard to wxplain. instead of having a barrier that is a single box high, you could have half a single box or a quarter box, etc.
Well, see how u can move the warthog around and shtuff, i think it's just the top of the warthog (turret thing) isn't a solid object (it can go through things) so it's just an illusion of the turret going through the floor... But if u get a crate, which is 100% solid, it's a lot harder.
I'm just sayin, just to help out, I'm sure viewers and myself would like it if u made antother vid with a crate
yea i know that, it's just that it's way harder to merge a 100% solid, movable object that is half way in the ground, than merging a warthog turret that is like 25% solid (as in you can walk through it)... im just sayin it's a tad bit harder since a crate or something will try to get out of the ground, rather than a warthog turret can just be moved around how ever u want... im just suggestin that u make a vid with a crate, thats all
YOU SHOULD geomerge a crate or something... cuz those are really hard. Just give the tutorial and shtuff and that'd be good. And all ur realy doin is putting the warthog under the map, it's not being geomerged/geoglitched... just sayin
k yea just get the crate or dumpster or shumptin like that, cuz idk how to do those things
can u use these turrets and stuff after

This is brilliant - Can you access the turrets while they are like this?
molewizard 3 years ago
If you put them high enough you can. But if it's too high the warthog will pop out of the ground.
vbsoccerdude 3 years ago 2
That could work for some really interesting defense maps.
molewizard 3 years ago
Nice job, thanks for this. Hopefully it'll inspire me to make some sort of map that will no doubt turn out horribly lol

you might be able to make another "area" down there and make a interesting map
suffocation49 3 years ago
possibly but still very time consuming and i don't know if it is possible to make people spawn and stay unerneath
bytor7770 3 years ago
maybe a tele...?

Great video thanks, I've been seeing a lot of maps with that lately and was wondering how to do it. So thanks!
clymaclym 3 years ago
That's a completely different topic but has many similiar techniques. Just google or search videos about geomerging immovable objects.

I love forge hub, i want live just to get foundry and stand off lol
jakeywakey27 3 years ago
so what is a practical use for this? you cant use the turret, so is it like for scenery? what other objects can you work with that have a real use?
bigjakecook 3 years ago
You can make an indestructible gravity lift. =)

Because this is a fairly new concept.

What? You can't be good with forge and good at halo as well?

I'm pretty sure you don't understand the whole concept on this tutorial. You use THE SAME steps to geomerge anything else under the map.
jpitty 3 years ago

It's the same concept. And how is a warthog stuck in the floor not geomerging?
