Just so you know if McCain was born in the panama canal zone at the time he was born the US had control of the panama canal, this is because the US built the canal during the great depression. The US gave up that power in the year 2000, so if McCain was born there then he was born as a US citizen, also both of his parent are US citizens, therefore it does not matter where he is born he is still a US citizen.

The phrase "natural born citizen" comes from a treatise written 1758 by Emerich de Vattel called "The Law of Nations". Under "Citizens and Natives" it states..."The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens"... This treatise was surely well known to the Founding Fathers and was most likely where they got the phrase. Since Obama freely admits his father was NOT a US citizen, then under this definition Obama is ABSOLUTELY ineligible to be POTUS.

Doesn't this seem a bit odd for 1961?
The PC word African did not come to use until the late 1980's early 1990's. In 1961 Negro or Negroe was used on all State and Fed Documents. The BC in question is a 07 reprint, but it will contain the exact wording of the original. Legally change your name, BC would retain original name, you would have to supply additional court documents verifying the name change.

Citizenship is passed from the mother to the child, UNLESS the mother throws away her citizenship so that she can enroll her child in the foreign country of her new husband. She gave away the citizenship of herself and her son (Barak) so that he could be enrolled in Indonesian school. Mr SOETORO formally adopted Obama and make him an Indonesian citizen. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship.

In this video, it shows Obama has a "Certification of Live Birth" which is a completely different document from a "Birth Certificate". A Cerification of Live Birth only proves that someone was born, but does not prove where.

The wording quoted has existed since August 29, and a link to the standard US Certificate of Live Birth has existed since August 22, 2006, previously with the text "U.S. Standard Birth Certificate" and now with the text "U.S. Standard Certificate of Live Birth (2003 revision)".
