i can't attend college as for one too old now, i'm 21. you get lazy assholes at college my age but they should get a job and too old to start, them ain't starting they already there
to use this advanced piece of software in my opinion you need to know every programming language fluently to even begin using this. you need computer science training. i don't go to college so this is extra hard for me
i know you can use ruby innit. i am new to this software, seems too advanced for me, you got any idea how to assign the ruby string values to the program so i can use them
everyone here has visual studio cause real programmers hacked into it. and got the keygen, i have no idea on any programming that C++ covers as that isn't my field. so i don't have a clue i need to learn that first. ur a bad teacher, i copied what ur done but it failed
BTW, I'm doing a 2 day workshop for those that want to learn how to program in .NET on Aug 15th - Aug 16th. Details are on my blog or the Sharp Axe Training web site.
how i can create a new proyect my visual studio ultimate only says " create a team proyect " or something like "connect to a online Proyect" what i have to do to create a proyect whitout team explorer
i know this doesnt have anything to do with visual studio but is he using windows 7? its looks so much cooler than my computer. i hate windows xp now. some1 plz reply
Thanks i just got visual studio today with no prior knowledge of programming whatsoever and want to thank you for your awesome tutorials! i made a beep lol....
You should have docked the Button to Fill (the center button of the Dock dropdown in properties) so it always fills 100% of the form, so if someone resizes the form while running it, the button resizes itself to 100% again.
Keith, instead of just saying things like "there are things called events" and clicking on the event, describe what it looks like, "there are things called events, which you can access by clicking on the icon that looks like a lightning bolt in the properties section" It helps us out a lot by not having to pause and rewind, thanks hope you make more tutorials.
Great Keith! the whole point on programming on Object C and Cocoa frameworks is to do things faster. Nonetheless even if what you try to point out that Visual Studio is faster for building apps, well to me coding iphone applications is far more challenging and rewarding. You try to do videos on how to do things on scratch faster but how about using the Cocoa framework?
lets say u made the model then delete all the text in there and copy this into it--
Public Class Form1 Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click Console.Beep() End Sub Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load End Sub

ah right it works, i had to restart the project through, as i doodled the first time never really worked proper.

I made everything like in the video, but somehow my "thingy" doesn't do "Beep" :(
Anyone know what could be wrong?
GanDuumar 2 years ago
Nvm, I found out. My Laptop has some kind of noise redirect thingy, so I had to use another command:
System.Media.SystemSounds.Beep.Play();
You can change the "Beep" with any of the Sounds in the Sound properties (aka Asterisk etc.)

C++ Is a programming language, Visual basic is just a different version of this program basically.

can you make music with this
havenote 3 years ago
Yes, but it's extremely tedious. You have to write down the duration and frequency of every note, so it isn't the best way to make music. :P

mwilli95 3 years ago
The language is case sensitive.
keithelder 3 years ago
Thank you very much. i'll definitely retry it now. That was my first time using visual studio as I just started to try to learn html.
mwilli95 3 years ago
@mwilli95 Like kethelder stated, the language is case sensitive. However, there are two ways to use this command:
1) Console.Beep();
2) Console.Beep(frequency, duration);
(frequency and duration are integer values)
bigmike4ya2003 1 year ago
