I did that with all of Helen Reddy's 45's. I love her original greatest hits album. All 10 songs are so great to listen to. I still love listening to her music. I love her voice. I have had Helen Reddy LPs (yes those big things) from the early 70s. Used to listen to it all the time. Still love her music and voice more than 35 years later. She is a clasic, only gets better with time.
EMI should remaster her stuff. I think the production on her stuff is wonderful. Helen, if you see this, you need to demand that EMI/Capitiol/Harvest remaster your recordings for the new fans.

Very prophetic,,,,,,, that ain't no way to treat a woman, your woman, your friend. NOT a lady, because that implies a certain amount of behaviour on the part of the female and therefore dehumanisies her in terms of a human being. BUT if you know NOT to treat a woman in these terms, then it's a very good START.

You can even dive deeper into the 70s and see underground experimental stuff like the new york dolls,the tubes and jobriath to get a wide view of it.
