uradura......the prophet muhamed pbuh told us cut the moustache and keep the beard and ur saying its forbidden haram to shave it.....he also told us not to leave the sunnah of fajr prayer, so if we miss the prayer is it haram and are we to be punished. the obvious answer is NO since its sunnah. at the end of day and this opinoin is among majority of the the ulama for the beard....and islam tell us to stay with the majority and not to break off into sects like wahabis

dunno- i think its an egyptian law about egyptian citizens not allowed to grow their beard..but i'll get back to you on that, thats why when the qaris from egypt such as Hindawi recite in countries like England, Iraq..., they grow their beard, but they shave it back again when they return to Egypt

Not having a beard is not haraam. Is is RECOMMENDED because the Profet PBUH did have a beard but he also said ¨He who does not recite the Qur'an is not of my ummah¨ No everything is either haraam or halaal. There are 5 classes of actions: Halaal or always do, recommended actions, actions which are neither positive or negative, actions which are not recommended but not haraam such as standing or walking and eating or drinking at the same time, and haraam which are prohibited. Learn your Shari'ah!

learn my shariah? i'm not even going to answer it. A beard is wajib on those men who get a beard. If you knew anything about shari'ah then you wouldn't even have to say all this. Shaving your beard is haraam. Keeping your beard less than one fist is makrooh Tahrimi. Man i can't believe I even took the time out to answer that.

brother please do not give fatwa which benefit you. if you say that something is halaal when it's haraam intentionally you immediately became a kaafir. keeping a beard is waajib

allah says in the quraan in surah baqarah ch. 2 v.208:enter into islam wholeheartedly also allah (s.w.t) says obey allah and obey his rasool if you read the hadith of the prophet (saw) he commands us to keep a beard so it becomes waajib

A beard is not necessary to recite. Allah judges us by our intentions not by the quantity of hair on your face. Or are you just envious because he recites and you do not?

If i was envious of his recitation.. i wouldn't praise his recitation by saying "best recitor in the world man in terms of recitation"  You shouldn't listen to recitation of someone who is an open sinner like not having a beard in his face. But since its my nafs thats why im still hearing him, but the ulema you should refrain from hearing a recitor who doesn't keep the beard. Allah judges us by our intentions AS WELL as if we keep a beard or not, remember that.

i can almost guarantee even He himself would tell you, " 777edwards he is right, i should keep a beard and recite.. but it's my nafs." Just because a person does something haraam doesnt mean he approves of it. Trust me you do know that you get the gunah for doing something haraam PLUS the gunaah of not knowing it was haraam because you didn't take the time to learn that it was. Or you'll also get the gunaah for denying something is haraam BECAUSE YOU FEEL IT'S NOT !!

slamz, in egypt they cant keep a beard, its the law, believe it or not if they want to keep a beard they have to fill out an application and send it to the government and none of them are successful. otherwise they would keep a beard.

Sahih Bukhari-No.5513- Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "Cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is)."

So its a ORDER from Rasulullah(pbuh)..if u like to say that ur a follower of Rasulullah(pbuh)and dont obey his ORDER then think urself what kind of ummah r u??
