@poneyboy23 Hello, I have read some accounts where they state that she lied to the press regarding her marriage. If this be the case then it is cause for concern. I do however believe that the gifts and callings are given without repentance that the church may be edified. At the end of the day we all must appear before the judgement seat of Christ to give an account what deeds good or evil were done in His body and to His body.

People do use God's word for gain, she was one of them.

And if you check wikipedia they reference the famous case in which she told a woman to remove her back brace and run across the stage healed. The woman did. The woman's spine collapse the next day, she was completely paralyzed and died four months later.
Same with Benny Hinn. Not one legitimate followup healing. He makes millions off of gullable people. There are plants in his audience. He's a fraud.
@yvettegr I do believe that in her ministry there were genuine accounts of healings. There may have been some instances of the flesh where some thought that they were healed when in reality that were not. The case you mentioned is very tragic and it shows that we need discernment between the real and the counterfeit.

My father was healed at one of her old tent revivals when she was a student minister. He had kidney cancer. He told me she walked down the aisle speaking in another funny language and counted seats to where he was sitting. He walked up with her and she layed hands on him, three days later he woke up in the bed at home and went to doctor. He died at age 62 two years ago. All he had was scar on his kidneys where the cancer was.
For those that find it important to dismiss the anointing of this woman. At least she brought joy and love and kindness where ever she went. If hearing her minister brought a moment of peace to one widowed woman sitting alone, has she not done the work of God?

For those that judge her by her individual appearance & speech patterns. I feel sorry for you. Listen to her! Does it speak to something inside of you? The second divorce was well known and she couldn't hide it. Many many people do what they do "in the name of Jesus" and yet are still not approved through God's word. That is why He said the Father's will be done and not His.

While he was human and wished to avoid pain and suffering, He never wavered from the Father's will. When He said, "not my will but yours", it was to say, "I don't relish this pain, but I always want your will". It's very subtle. But when she claims that there were two wills, she's denying that "I and the Father are one" and therefor denying the deity of Christ. False Teacher.

In the second marriage, the man, another televangelist, divorced his then current wife to marry Kathryn and "join her in ministry". She tried to deny the first marriage even though it was all very clear from county records. She claimed to have fainted just before finishing her vows at first. He taught that the cross wasn't enough, that Jesus only died spiritually for us, not physically (truly anti-christ teaching according to I John 4) and that we can control the world with our words. I love how she pronounces the Holy Spirit when she's teaching and exhorting! She runs it together! I've always loved her spirit and teaching. While no one is perfect, I believe her passion for our God is one of the most genuine that ever walked the earth. You cannot listen to her and not believe she believes what she's saying. Belief in God is actually quite logical it makes way more sense than: nothing exploding into something, then that something stewing for millions of years, and then that stew somehow creating life and that life steadily getting more complex, so complex even that it becomes self aware and begins to wonder and ponder the meaning of life. I do however believe that the gifts and callings are given without repentance that the church may be edified. And if you check wikipedia they reference the famous case in which she told a woman to remove her back brace and run across the stage healed. The woman did. The woman's spine collapse the next day, she was completely paralyzed and died four months later.
Same with Benny Hinn. Not one legitimate followup healing. He makes millions off of gullable people. There are plants in his audience. He's a fraud.

There may have been some instances of the flesh where some thought that they were healed when in reality that were not. The case you mentioned is very tragic and it shows that we need discernment between the real and the counterfeit.

My father was healed at one of her old tent revivals when she was a student minister. He had kidney cancer. He told me she walked down the aisle speaking in another funny language and counted seats to where he was sitting. He walked up with her and she layed hands on him, three days later he woke up in the bed at home and went to doctor. He died at age 62 two years ago. All he had was scar on his kidneys where the cancer was.

The second divorce was well known and she couldn't hide it. Many many people do what they do "in the name of Jesus" and yet are still not approved through God's word. In her case, she was not only insincere, but also deceptive. The fact that she got a thing or two right doesn't erase what she was.

Even if it is not at the time that God first asked you? You will still obey so not only to have peace, but to have right standing with God. @taboakos So God would tell someone to divorce their mate because they made a mistake? Hosea married a "loose" woman and God didn't tell him divorce her! If a spirit tells me to do something contrary to God's rules, I would say that it's not God but a demon. So if Kathryn truly heard a spirit tell her to divorce her husband, then it was a demon. She was an unrighteous and deceitful person. People who listened are deceived. And she spawned a whole generation of false teachers like Benny Hinn.

This Woman got my attention when I was 10years old....That Woman was truly anointed, The Holy spirit spoke through her for many many people who are now saved. I Praise God that I questioned God and his word in such a early age...I wish I would have applied that truth when I was 10. I am now 50 and I praise the Lord that he works in "seed time and harvest". @poneyboy23 ummm she definitely did not leave her husband for the ministry she stated to her friends that she felt it was not the will of God to marry her husband but did not listen, and her life turned for destruction until she finally listened to the voice of God and left him. And she is right about what Jesus had said. She is not saying that Jesus came down with His will, but right before His death I bet it was not His will to die. That is why He said the Father's will be done and not His.

@taboakos And with respect to the will of Jesus, He stated many times that He was in complete union with the Father. While he was human and wished to avoid pain and suffering, He never wavered from the Father's will. When He said, "not my will but yours", it was to say, "I don't relish this pain, but I always want your will". It's very subtle. But when she claims that there were two wills, she's denying that "I and the Father are one" and therefor denying the deity of Christ. False Teacher.

Even though He speaks of it in His word, I don't think we could possibly ever imagine what He was feeling and experiencing. Katherine only is saying that there were two wills because at a point in time Jesus was even hoping that He saving the world could happen in another way not through death as the Father willed.

This is blatantly false. Her reason for teaching this is all part of her means of pulling people in and getting their money because after she says that, she says, "give your whole will to God". Interesting, why should I if Jesus didn't? This is horrid teaching. She was a huckster who took people's money.

That would make Him imperfect, not sinless. Not only that, all His statements about being one with the Father and doing nothing of Himself are false and lies.This is the logical conclusion of her idea. So her God was herself.

Like Paul said, even when people preach the gospel with ill intent (in her case, taking your money), people are getting the gospel. Just realize that people like her and Benny Hinn don't like you, they have tremendous contempt for you because you are succumbing to their trickery. In the second marriage, the man, another televangelist, divorced his then current wife to marry Kathryn and "join her in ministry". She tried to deny the first marriage even though it was all very clear from county records. She claimed to have fainted just before finishing her vows at first. What a cowardly way to act when you've been discovered!

@gayl09 Hagin teaches false things and has made false prophesies. There is no other way to put it - false prophet. He taught that the cross wasn't enough, that Jesus only died spiritually for us, not physically (truly anti-christ teaching according to I John 4) and that we can control the world with our words. He taught that Adam was a God and that we are Gods. Shall I go on? I'm only telling you what Hagin taught. It's clearly contrary to scripture. Avoid this man like the plague.

Kathryn Kuhlman was one of the most humble, Christ-centered women ever! I heard that she spoke so dramatically due to a speech impediment as a child. I have been to a crusade and knew several people who were friends with her--she was real and so submitted to the Holy Spirit's leadership. I long for that greater closeness with the Lord. For the people who posted negative comments: What are you doing with your life? How many lives have you impacted? "Judge not lest you be judged."

I was only 12 years old at the time and came thinking that falling down was unreal because I had seen a church where they pushed the people down but God knew my heart and knew I wanted the truth--His presence was so thick in that place and I witnessed many miracles before my very eyes. Jesus died both for our sins and our sicknesses!

I love how she pronounces the Holy Spirit when she's teaching and exhorting! She runs it together! I've always loved her spirit and teaching. While no one is perfect, I believe her passion for our God is one of the most genuine that ever walked the earth. You cannot listen to her and not believe she believes what she's saying. I'm convicted to a deeper relationship each time I listen to her, and this is the will of God for each of us, living epistles read of men.
