  • wtf! Just listened to Jason Durelo and everyone has commented about this video? what has this got to with Jason's song "breathing" they sound nothing alike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Listen to the unique Bulgarian music! Feel the magic!

  • im proud to be bulgarian!

  • I brought myself here , cause i love my country and the folklore :) Start listening to real music like this, not to Jason somebody :))

  • An USA and romanian artist used the bulgarian folk song "Ерген деда" for their songs' melody.. Well, that is something.. :)

  • Must have been1991. Excellent!

  • @wagsouza : Because?

  • @rhonddanunes Because i don´t like choir.

  • @wagsouza : Certainly your prerogative...being as that may though...why even listen to a video listing "voices" (plural) if you don't like choral music much less post about it? If you don't like Choral music why even bother to check it out?.

  • im proud to be Bulgarian!

  • Wow!!! Ethnic Take 6!!

  • da im eba shibanqcite na teq 16 det go dislikvat videoto

  • JASOOOOOON DEEEERRRRRRRUUUULLOOOOOOOOO

  • Nice and yeah...Jason Derulo brought me here =)

  • I'm from Bulgaria and I'd never heard of this before Jason Derulo brought me here(:

  • Reminds me of the soundtrack of "Ghost in the shell".

  • @JosephKrammer Reminds me of the Myst 3 and 4 Main Themes...

  • amazing!

  • I'm also Italian and really enjoy these women and their incredible voices. The singing gives me chills.

  • My ethnicity is irrelevant and I love this music.

  • Where's the part which was featured in Breathing?

  • @PepiSchmeichel ami ne az prosto ne haresvam narodna muzika kato cqlo....obi4am hip hop i rnb

  • @Inamech

  • @LanfearaifyAmi az ne sam saglasna, vinagi sam si haresvala tazi muzika i mislq 4e tq mi e v kravta, no dori i taka da e ima li nqkakvo zna4enie, 4e 4ak da idva6 tuk i da mi obqsnqva6 koe e v kravta mi i koe ne e, pak i da mi kazva6 4e ne uvazavam kirilicata!koe te kara da misli6 taka??tova 4e izpolzvam latinicata ne zna4i 4e ne uvazavam kirilicata a 4e prosto q nqmam v kompa!p.s. kazva6 4e e 4ast ot balgarskiq duh no tova nqma ni6to ob6to s men za6toto az ne se 4uvstvam balgarka ve4e!

  • @Inamech

  • @Slu4ainika neznam za kakav se misli6 da govori6 po tozi na4in i da si misli6 4e zivota ti e pove4e ot koito i da e bilo trqbva da si super ograni4en 4ovek,......no kakto kazah nqma da prodalzavam, taka 4e uspeh i na teb!

  • @Inamech

  • @Inamech

Good for you. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

  • @122shriahful Jason derulo brought me here as well lol

  • lol first person to say that JASON DERULO brought me here loool z

  • straxotni ste!!!!!!!!! super!!!!!!

  • one of the most impressive things I´ve ever heard. Just fantastic!!!!!

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Impresionante

  • yeah ... hey teacher :D

  • Bulgaria is one of the countries with the oldest history and culture in the world! I am proud to be bulgarian!!!

  • enurion, please scan the posts a bit!

    I absolutely love this video,

but the hateful comments ''steal the shou'' -and the musik suffers

  • @Deadlyvom only because your Zaziki- music isn't as famous as this doesn't give you the right to start trying to invert the history of mankind :D

You surely know that the Thrakians and the Ancient Bulgarian tribes mixed up to create the Bulgarian as you know him now. Greater influence in our music comes from the Slavic side. But clearly YOU should know that since YOU seem to be a Prof. Dr. in History.

  • @SeekerOfMusicGR

First of all I would like you to show me some Ancient Greek music that sounds the same.

My second demand is for you to PROVE that you are a part of the Ancient Geeks since you know so much about their music with yet NO SHEET MUSIC that would help you complete my first demand.

And HOW in God's name should your Ancient Greek music have influenced the Bulgarian's after Greece has never even touched the regions from which this music comes from?

  • ......owes it's success to Greece because if we have something in common it is Thracians lived in both Greece and Bulgarian territories. First it was Thracians then there were nations like Greeks and Bulgarians as they are nowadays so don't take credit for someone who lived ages ago. :)

  • Everybody have to thank Ancient Greek culture because has developed music and specifically polyphony...

So other nations who lived and live near Greece have been influenced very much from Greek music...

    Long live Greece.

    Macedonia is Greek!!!

  • @SeekerOfMusicGR I am Bulgarian and I don't like your comment. You sound like Macedonians claiming they were not part of Bulgaria or Alexander The great was Macedonian but you're telling Macedonia is Greek. Nations are constantly separated by cultures, religion, skin color and so on and it's only because everyone tries to be independent by others instead of trying to have something in common. So please do not be one of those kind of people and don't tell me Bulgaria or this certain ensemble ....

  • @SeekerOfMusicGR Petty, ignorant nationalists and regionalists - all of you!

You have about as much relation to Ancient Greece as you do to Ancient China or the Incan empire!

  • @SeekerOfMusicGR I appreciate greek culture but face that its not only greek civilization that is great. Bulgaria and greece have been the most powerful countries on the balkans for centuries so please show some respect. The only worthy competitor of bulgaria is greece.

    FYROM is bulgarian!

    Macedonia is greek!!!

    CHEERS MY BROTHER.

  • @emilpenkov969 I didn't say something bad and i dont underestimate your culture for God's sake...

I spoke about influence...I said that other nations have been influenced from something that Greece started...

The way that Bulgarians have advanced and use polyphony is awsome...no doubt about that...

Dont misunderstand me brother...I totaly respect your culture!

    FYROM is BULGARIAN

    MACEDONIA IS GREEK

I suppose that this is a new way to salute a Bulgarian or a Greek...lol

    Greetings from Athens!

  • @emilpenkov969 U do realise that a Romanian will say that Romania was also a very powerful country, that a Serbian would say the same thing, etc...right?

  • @comolor Good point, but you should know that some nations are greater than others. We bulgarians for example invented the cyrillic alphabet( which u used 200 years ago), we spread slavonic culture in the whole of eastern europe, we were one of the most powerful empires in europe in the middle ages. Modernday russians even speak an archaic version of bulgarian due to heavy influence. We have the second oldest orthodox church after greece. I can go on for ages.

  • @emilpenkov969 Ok, I agree with u, I honestly didn't even know all of those (you probably know how it is, in school u don't learn so much about other countries and I'm not a fan of general/global history).

  • @comolor I'm romanian lol.

  • very nice!

  • I love Bulgaria, but what there is a real bad problem in building up any kind of business, even just a list of nice places to visit and to sleep... is: MAFIA. You have to pay for each step this is very strange and a real upper level to all other members of the EU.

  • Comment removed

  • @ellinas2132 Ergen deda !!!

  • Ta z prawej -Louis de Funès.

  • Stop talk about these things here. This mystery deserves better comments. !

  • Yes, we bulgarians have our culture and history, but all those brave men who fought for us to be free, to keep us united as a nation and all, died for people who dont deserve it. Again, Im not calling all of the bulgarians idiots, but please excuse me, most of us are. Wasting all thats been built :(

  • God bless Bulgaria and Bulgarian people all over the world! I am italian but I feel myself Bulgarian!!!! Love from Italy to all my bulgarian firends :-)

  • @SamOfTheSound I'm Bulgarian, but living far from Bulgaria :( And sometimes I see Italian films about Italians country-side and it's like I meet my childhood, my motherland... So, Italy for me today as like my motherland! I love sunny Italy with antique endless blue sky and good peoples there...

  • What's wrong with gypsies? If it's about culture and race preference.. well we Americans are of many races, many cultures. We like people.

  • @binaryagent everything

  • You are descendant of turkmen tribes. Nothing wrong with that, just a fact, you adopted our language, we also adopted some of your elements. Greets from Serbia

  • @komijeuzonik Your language ? HAHA The First Bulgarian Empire is the first official Slavic country and the Bulgarian orthodox church is officially the oldest Eastern Orthodox church. We are the first country to use the cyrillic as a national alphabet. Check your facts before post. Greetings :)

  • @Slu4ainika

Don`t mix religion and nation origins....You check your facts. Man your rulers had title of Khan :D you`re rigth about church tho, although i care for it as much as weather on christmass island since it came from middle east. "The Bulgars originally came from Central Asia during the 4th century, migrating into the North Caucasian steppe.[46][47][48][49] They were a Turkic people with some Iranian elements.". ;)

  • @komijeuzonik I know where Bulgars come from very well. It's sad to talk about things like these on such a touching video. If you want to talk wright me personal message if not enjoy the fantastic music and don't wright stupid things around.

  • @Slu4ainika Don`t be afraid of the truth ;) Ok, i agree write me on pm

  • @komijeuzonik 100% u do not know what 'descendant' means. u did none research about who descents who and your statement has no authenticity.

and why u even comment here?

    greets from Vitosha

  • Comment removed

  • @bays19 Your point is I don`t know what descendant means??? lol man, just lol

  • @komijeuzonik no, my point is- you are using it wrong.

  • @komijeuzonik This is the most widely used propaganda set by russia to prove that we bulgarians are not slavs. Bulgars were part of the iranian branch of tribes. Our homeland was in hindu kush. Turkish tribes lived in central asia.

Bulgaria also invented and spread the cyrillic alphabet. Russians today speak a very old version of bulgarian language because we had huge influence on eastern europe. We were the light in the tunnel in the middle ages.

  • @komijeuzonik Bulgarian are Sarmatians

  • magnifique..

  • What's the name of the first song?

  • @VOXPUBLICA Ergen deda

  • From all these comments it is evident that eastern europeans (especially from the Balkans) cannot forget the past and still argue about things that happened hundreds of years ago. I am bulgarian and proud of my heritage, why can't we enjoy the amazing culture we have in ALL the balkan regions, we are all linked in both culture and heritage so get over it! We have so much history, share basically the same language, who cares where it all started, its all the same and its GREAT so enjoy it.

  • The bulgarian Jorge Atanasov was invented computer. The bulgarians aren't tyrkish they are Traki Prabulgari and Slavqni. They speak Bulgarian not Serbian or Macedonian.

  • @kuwvefax

    John Artanasoff, dude!

  • @collectedrelics

Byzantine , hahhah, wrong answer, sit down! the music is thracian with some bulgar elements. Nothing in common with the Byzantine or the arabic music.

People think that everything beautiful must come either from the subhuman romans or the subhuman byzantines and that is. How narrow-minded.

  • Alone in the dark! Have BULGARIAN SOUNDTRACK isn`t that EPIC!!!! GOSH I love that I`m from a great COUNTRY, small but with great past!!!

  • Serbian voices, and language. Bulgar tatar turk only invaded modern Bulgarian region in 5th century.

  • @miavaso

hahahahahah, hahahahhah! the most ridiculous thing i have ever red. Serbian language, hahahahhah. Let me remind you that Bulgaria is several centuries older than your state. Furthermore the cyrillic alphabet that u use was invented in the first Bulgarian Empire. Check Encyclopdia Britanica or Wikipedia or other webs for Dummies before leaving non-sense comments.

Take your pills and go to bed, moron, LOL!

  • @gringoroko No, no Bulgaria is roughly 2,500 years younger the Serbia. Bulgar name is not Slavic it's Turkic, yet the Bulgarians today speak a Slavic/Serbian language. Wow, what happened there? Cyrillic was not INVENTED, it derived from the Vinca writing system that pre-dates Bulgaria by thousands of years. That is the Serbian culture that gave life to every western culture in existence today. If you don't believe me, look it up on your webs for dummies.

  • @miavaso

Ohh, boyyy, you need to go to a doctor, hahahahahah! May i ask you for some evidences! Because i can tell you that Bulgars came from Mars and invented the fire and the wheel 1000 000 000 years ago, but it is another question if i can provide some proofs that back up these claims. So name the reputable sources which confirm these bold ( pathetic) claims. It seem to me that all available sources in the net agree with me and none of them with u. Hmm...interesting. It's your turn!

  • @miavaso

P.S. Noone knows for sure what the name Bulgar means and what its origin is. There are more than 27 theories about the Bulgars and theitr origin. Some claim that they were of proto-turkic ( not turkic, it is not the same ) origin some say that that they were iranian tribe, third say that they were sarmatians with slavic admixtures. However no theory is fully accepted. So don't behave as if you know more than the historians from Oxford and Harvard. Douche bag !

  • @gringoroko Bulgar comes from "Volga" and Vol (Volos - Taurus). Scynthian tribe from river Volga and Don - Dontsi. Tribes of Don (in old greek as "Danoi")

  • @VendPrekmurec

Not sure if i can follow your thoughts.

  • @gringoroko you want to say that i am wrong?

  • @VendPrekmurec

A further clarification is needed. I didn't understand what the bulgars have to do with Danoi? Probably u mean that the bulgars were scythians- it is possible. However the relation Volga - Bulg is not clear, it is a speculation.

  • @gringoroko Scynthians were old Slavs. Many germanic nationalistic "scientists" are discovering this... and are afraid. Also Goths (later called Germanic nations) came from the same tribes of Scynthians (Skiti). Scynthians were old Hyperboreans, shared similar tradition and mythology. If i would bring you back to time somewhere 5000 Bc (Hyperboreans lived already there before 100 000 Bc) the language(described) in "Genesis 11:7" was close to so called "old Sanskrit " and old Slavic,in a nutshell

  • @gringoroko Sanskrit (especially old) is still today most closest to Slavic languages...I've discovered that by myself without any nationalistic ignorant "scientists" and religious maniacs.

Regards to so called "biblical Jewish Tribe of Dan" or Greek "Danoi". Yes the term comes from old Rivers of Belovodye ("white rivers") - and one of these rivers is river DON (great river in Russia)... from that comes also MAKEDON or Macedon

  • @gringoroko when "MaceDON" means in Transliteration "migrant from river Don" - They called them self "Dontsi" (tsi = ci or plural of people of Don). And Make or Mahe is old pra-Slavic (SHIVAIT) term of "great " - raz-mah ("expansion") or "mahnit" (to go, to swing...). Also read "Maha-Bharata"-..

When Veda is pure and original Slavic word (also read about Veda Slovena) - the "book" was not published until 1997 (it was forbidden by communists)

All Slavs (including Germans, Finns,)are waking up

  • @VendPrekmurec Man, i wish all my friends and young people know these things u are saying, i know it is true, its written in the old books( before 1300 ac)- and especially the history before 7th century, which reveals the unwanted truth about how many europe nations have its roots started from this pennisula.

  • @bays19 yes you s even do not know that you remained Slavic Vedas - called "Veda Slovena" in your culture(which is still called as a "forgery" - by your own "historians". - something which is pre-Christian Slavic is always a "forgery"), which survived Inquisition, Islam,Christianity. Slavs used to know Vedas before they've met "bible, torah and kuran". It was old faith called "Vera, Viera" (Vedenje Ra - "enlightment of knowledge" - Ra is old Slavic universe and also old name of river Volga)

  • @bays19 Bulgarians were from beginning Thracians, this truth was stolen from you by "Holy Christian Byzantium historians".Orthodox Churches had roots in Vedism(not in Torah, Bible). You can still observe symbolism in your churches - covered with Svastikas- Svarga-s (old holy slavic symbolism) in Christ.Churches. "Orthodox" or Pravo-Slav church comes from original "Pravo-Slav" Vedic Slavic church - Prav is highest realm of Gods- "rigteous", when Slav is "glorious" realm, we live in material "Jav".

  • @VendPrekmurec all good to u man!

i have always wonder why is it called Православен in bulgarian and Orthodox in english.

Прав-о-слав-ен, what you are saying make sense and these words have the same meaning in today bulgarian language - Прав = prav is root for word 'праведен' (righteous), слав = slav is root for word 'славен' (glorious).

  • @bays19 yes... read Book of Veles; there are also mentioned these words; except "Slav" realm... it is realm of Zhiva(Shiva) - "higher" realm of Incarnation - reincarnation (into Yav or into Prav). Yav is material realm. Irij is slavic heaven, when Nav is hell (Astral). Mir Vana ("peace - realm outside") is "Nirvana". Second word is NAV or MIR NAVI... this was known to slavs in vedic pravo-slav church before torah, biblical, parasitical new doctrine that - took over Vedic church...

  • @bays19 also note that 1. Torah was written in 11th centura AD (not BC), today called "Leningrad Codex" (because it is in museum in Leningrad - Petrograd in Russia). But nobody denies that "Torah" is occult construct and that everybody believe that Torah is older than year 0 and everybody think that was written before christ (BC). Opposite - they claim that slavic Book of Veles (written until 8th century AD) is a forgery (also claim that photo is a fake) - people live in Yahwistic Matrix

  • @bays19 Pravo-Slavna VIERA or VERA is not Semiti, Germanic, GOthic, Sanskrit, Turk, Greek, Latin word, never was. It has nothing to do with Bible, Torah, Islamic Quran,... it has roots in Slavic Vedism or old faith - Yahwists call this old faith "pagan" (= word as mockery for those who are not in Afro Semitic Abrahamic doctrines)...

  • @gringoroko from this old Matrix... and returning back to Vedic roots, leaving behind Torahic and Biblical hisTORy

  • @gringoroko "Volga" is river of Volos (Vol or Bull), Vaal, Veel, Veles (Va'al - Ba'al). Veles was representing Taurus constellation (homeland of white race or gods)..old river of Volga was river RA (also check about Egyptian "god" Ra) Ra is short for Slavic Vedic "god" Ra-m-ha (which is in Hindu Sanskrit known as Brahma)...

Ra, Vishnu (Slavic "Vishjii" - "the one who is high") and Zhiva (Shiva) representing 1. Triglav (Trimurti) or Trojan god ("3"),when Troja was known as Vilios (Ilios in greek)

  • @gringoroko so... "Vilios" is Veles (god of material realm in YAV' - that later semites started to call "Yaw or Yehowa")... Baalbek was also (in beginning) representing olf Shivait temple of Baal (Veles) - and was built before 12 000 Bc (the same as Indian Dvarka - city of Krishna - in Slavic Dvarka means "doors" (Star gates of god Hrstna - "enliven one" (incarnated god) - that later Osirian (Egyptian "KRST" -OSIRIS's krst (Ausar = Asura - Bakasura - Bacchus) levitic priest invented as "Christ"

  • Comment removed

  • @miavaso You're wrong...totaly wrong...please read some history books...

  • @SazuelAporoGranz No, your books are wrong. They are also the reason you are stupid.

  • the books are not ours... idiot...

  • @Lesgettogether hi :) well i like your comments ,what he mean is that most of our songs are about the 500 turkish slavery :(.!

  • lol their interpretation of 'oh susanna' was out of this world!

  • Bulgarian singers have beautiful voices, and their music is also wonderful.

  • In all my travels, Bulgaria has one of the most beautiful cultures and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever known.

    Sichco hubavo.

  • The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices are GREAT. They should sing Kugutsuuta ura mite chiru from Ghost in the shell: INOCENCE. Kenji Kawai should use them for that song.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • Amazing Bulgaria!!! :)

    Greeting from Poland

  • I thought that here most people will gives feedback of the music they hear but I guess I'm wrong... How sad...

  • I don't listen to folklore, but they are amazing!!! Especually their help of creating the soundtrack for Alone in the Dark with the french composer Olivier Deriviere!

    Long Live Bulgaria!

  • The question is not whether God exists or not, the important thing is that while we entertain ourselves in looking for a savior and be dominated by many of these political religions, what is happening is that we are killing and increasingly separating from each other. Hope this make sense.

  • Respect brother.From Bulgaria.

  • Wonderfull songs and magic voices. There is some little turk influence in it but mostly it is eastern europe, and it sounds much more like russian, ukraine, and certainly serbian folk.

  • @veterr1982 Idiot

  • @veterr1982 Bulgaria has been around before all all the countries. And most of them like serbia were on bulgarian territory in the past

  • that is my country, although I`m not born here.. this is my homeland...Quote @betisaso : I love my homeland..i hate my state...
