I agree on everyone making it look too easy. Question though. Did you import that picture of CP into Flash and then add layers? Or did you create it in Flash and make them layers.

Basically my problem is, I'm trying to animate a sketch I scanned into Photoshop and colored. BAsically so I can animate something without drawing on the computer, but on drawing paper. I just started on Flash, so sorry if I sound dumb, but when I import my file into flash, the bones alter the whole image. HELP

My stupid flash CS4 sucks...it gives me the error "I NEED HELP!!! stupid shit CS4 says that I need "Action Script 3.0" what the FUCK does this mean!? CS4 is fucking expensive...I need help!!! It says "inverse kinematics bones do not/support this version of actionscript. To see the bones on your objects you must target at least Actionscript 3.0" How do I fix this!?!?!?

@joeyc2410 I fixed the problem..but the Bone tool didn't work...'cause my comp crashed... and then I has to use a friend's compute to use the bone tool..and I went back to my old computer... I can move the joints freely..... and NOW I can't use the friggin Vcam so yes...I have the worst computer EVAAAAAA

I solve that problem LONG AGO..and finished the cartoon...and CS4 caused me so much grief T^T. I had NO IDEA when it automatically stays at 2.0 when you import it from flash 8....I had to...redo the whole thing *sigh*

The new thing is *armatures*, or bone structures. It just happens to use inverse kinematics for rotating joints.

Right click the picture then click "COnvert to symbol"

Then convert it to Movie clip

And then you can add bones :D

@minggnim Yeah, looks like he has some sort of video screencap app that centers on his mouse. So even the slightest move of his mouse moves the entire screen. Kind of weird...

@minggnim It's because he's using the zoom tool in OSX, in his OS version it centres the mouse so the screen is always darting about. Snow leopard fixes this problem
