Yet, it's already a big "performance" that you know such a difficult piece by heart. As to the interpretation, articulation, musicality, ... way to go.
sorry but this is not concert standart. just fast and loud, that doesnt automatically mean the piece is well played. you have to interpret this piece and each note must be heared. you have to think ybout the notes. you often stress the wrong notes. still you are a great talent and your technique is pretty good for your age.
What's with all the people saying it's too fast!? I am learning this piece now, and let me say, there is something about this piece that makes you want to play it fast! You can't help it! If this girl is seriously only 13... you have to have big hands to play this piece! This is amazing!
all because they piece makes you feel like playing it fast... doesnt mean it should be this fast... that is a totally unmusical thing to do... playing this fast defeats the musical purpose of the piece entirely
There are tons of great recordings of this out there; go listen to those. Who cares if she doesn't demonstrate world-class interpretation? She's a kid. I found this to be wildly exciting, all things considered.
Too much eagerness to demonstrate virtuosity, speed going to the music blasting. The performers are in the service of music. Its main focus should not be wearing his technique or speed.
Slow down. Playing the whole thing so fast simply ruins the true climax which are the last two pages. Maybe the blurriness is the hall. But if you play everything so fast, the end has little effect. And your left hand is exaggerated loud. Yes you need rhythmic emphasis in Left Hand, but this is way overdone. The very end seemed to lose rhythm, due to extreme speed. Try to play slower, and listen for clarity and rhythmic precision which is ESPECIALLY needed in Prokofiev's music, in general.
the left hand is drowning out the sound of the piano! This is what frustrates me about a lot of composers and performers. the piano is supposed to be about pianistic melody, not strong chord bashing!
aaaa.... let's make an online "speedy gonzales competition"! lol i will record it faster. we all need some break in our musical life... sorry, Sergeï........................
Though i liked this performance i prefer this piece played a lot slower... Listen to Sokolov play it (it's on YouTube) and try it yourself a couple of times. I'm not saying this was a bad concert or anything i just prefer it slower. :)

It's a pity that the hall is so resonant that the sound is blurred so we can't hear everything clearly. But any pianists watching this who play this sonata and who listen carefully and follow the hand movements will notice that this is accurately played, even the difficult last two pages. This would be a remarkable achievement for a pianist of any age, but it's even more of an achievement for someone who is only 13.
awful

Sorry, but the performance is not worthy. Firstly, to play this sonata, you should know about Prokofiev, and his music.
In the final, very much themes, that you do not show... Sorry, but I absolutely did not like ...
Very fast...

This is not a Tempo competition

Too much pedal and the melody in right hand was too soft at some point, not enough contrast. But technique was superb.

Hurry, Hurry! Rush! Rush! Fast, Fast, Fast! Gotta beat Argerich! Gotta beat Joselson! Gotta beat 'em all!
Why not INTERPRET the piece? Now, that would be refreshing in this day and age of "Wunderkinds!"

yeah playing fast may be impressive, but you can lose a lot of musical elements by speeding like this. rather frustrating to listen to..

Come on, she's only 13 in this video. She still has a lot of time to improve. Anyway check out her Hungarian Rhapsody 2 she's amazing!

since she has already held concern when she was only 13 years old, she has to take a lot criticisms.
and be honest, she DOES suck on this piece.

good playing,
I think this is better than the practice one I heard...
but listen to the clarity of the sound..
for instant, around bar 66.. the descending...I can't really tell what you are playing..
also, toward the end I can only hear just blur of sound..
In order to play at that speed, you need to be able to hear clearly about everything you are playing..
