ok well .. im gettin this phone, well i want him and im on the edge of buyin it.. is this a cool phone for me [ok i know u dont know me but read further] cuz i had a sidekick before, it broke and i had a stupid after that one.. i realy wanted a other sidekick now but i couldnt find it realy.. im like into smartphones, blackberrys and smartphones.. like with keybords and so.. its kinda big so thats realy cool.. does anyone knows if this is a good and long lastin phone?
You can say it's "slow" against something "fast", but Windows Mobile (Standard Edition, not touchscreen) isn't slow or fast by itself: it depends upon the CPU power, and the i600 has an average one. Its predecessor, the i320, has a lighting fast CPU (perhaps the fastest one ever seen on a smartphone), but its battery life was ridicolous.
The i600 has a decent battery life while mantaining an usable UI: the Start menu opens in tenths of a second and TomTom 5 runs well. And yes, it's worth buying.
Thanks. Seems like I am getting it tomorrow. I wanna make sure it is good. I never used windows mobile, but I heard it is slow on the samsung i600. Do you have 5 or 6? which one you think is better? Do you think it is a phone worth buying?
