does the american series 1105 lock come with security pins normally? what type? i was thinking of buying one off internet because they look like a challenge. nice vid
yes, u can bet that 95% of all types of American locks are loaded with atleast a handful of serrated top and bottum pins. if ur lookin to understand security pins better and get some good practice i recommend American Locks(any series will do). i credit American Locks to how i got so good at picking all types of security pins.
i found a wafer lock on my dads study desk. i picked it. but can wafer locks have security pins? cause i thought i felt feedback on tension wrench while applying pressure with pick?
You said sometimes you over pick the pin and you let off on the tension. When your picking are you doing a click at a time on each pin then go back to the first one until its picked.your the first one who actually tells a little what your feeling. most go into the lock start picking and go there its open.
great job sniper. those are some tough locks. I also have that c70. cant get it to open. all in time. Very nice skills bro..looks like you know exactly what your doing. keep it up. you should make more videos man. you do a fine job.
My camera makes a similar noise when it's on "auto focus". I took it off auto focus, and diden't notice any real difference in the picture, just that the noise stopped.
Great job explaining, American Locks give me the hardest time for some reason. Thanks for the mention!
the 1100 is a bit tricky, its all about tension, i can never realy get it with two tension wrenches only with one at the bottum or top. and yea i finnally got a tripod lol, i also got a nice ass camera, its HD video and everything, but i thinks its got a 4g mem card, and it takes fuckin forever to try and load a vid off it so i used my shitty camera once again.
holy shit, did you ever break your thumb? how do you get it to flex back so far?

Why did you choose front to back? Early locks, instructions, habit?
Very impressive.

The part where the blue 1105 was picked was the best practical tutorial on setting spool pins I've seen. Everyone should watch this.

fantastic.
you have the same desk as me!! lol.
i love the 1105. picking is great, and the false set is so much fun, because of all the spool serrated hybrids.
GREAT video. probably the first youtube video doing multiple american locks.
thanks snipe :)
