  • Hey Honey Pot, i do play music sometimes in the morning, during the morning walk. The lunch walk i usually have company with me. The steps i do at home, are usually with music or with YOUTUBE videos.

    Thats right, i am shaking that fat!

  • this is really good, i think people think you gotta do something big and drastic to get the movement your body needs and any repititous movement is great! who is the singer in those songs you were playing?

  • Yea, I have tried so many ways to do it and this seems the most painless :-) it works for me. I have always gained it back...after I get tired of killing myself in the gym.

  • Lol, Thank you! MY meter is made by Omron. Very good and accurate and will tell you miles walked as well as steps.

  • I'm heading to Sports Authority in a little while to pick up my Pedometer. Is 11,000 your daily goal? Do you think that's a good place for me to start? Also, where do you wear your pedometer, your waist?

  • 11,000 is my daily goal. It used to be 10,000. 10,000 is most people starting out goal. Then as your body gets used to it, you have to move it up a notch. I can do 16,000 but it is not consistent. I am shooting for this month 12,000 a day. I have been at 11,000+ for some time now.

  • Oh and I wear my pedometer on my waist, but if i have on a dress, I wear it in my bra :-) This brand is very accurate.

  • awesome i never thought about getting steps in that way and i have good news i lost 3.4 pounds on this week i have been eating a lot of veggies and i did the salt cleasner with ur recipe of course and i just been working out hard and it paid off so my goal is to loose another 3 pounds i think i need to do another cleasing this week because i still feel like i need to what do u think u think that will be to soon

  • Yay for 3.4 lbs, awesome job! Good job on the veggies too. You are doing good, set the small goals and just go for the it. I do not think it is too early to do another cleanse. I am sure that you didn't get "everything" the first time.

  • I'm going to buy a pedometer this year. I started training for my breast cancer walk which are lots of miles. Walking is a great exercise. Congratulations on making a great effort. Keep it up!

  • LOl, it is not as hard as I thought after I started doing this. I couldn't even get 5000 steps in. I gradually moved up. I started getting 10,000 regularly and then 11 and 12. But I am consistent with 11,000

  • oh yes girl because I did my steps for the day last week and I got only 6500 steps, i was very frustrated but now I get how u are getting it done, good ideas about walking/jogging in place and thanks for the tips, im gonna start doing this when I am home in the day with the baby - ha ha look at nini on the screen talkin girl!!! I went to that ustream as divaonadiet
