Can everyone stop saying that they are making the first movie all over again? Because they don't. This is a new story and a new Spiderman Universe (mostly based on the Ultimate Universe). This movie will be realistic and modernized.

Andrew Garfield was the perfect choise for Peter Parker and he is also very passionate about the role.

Peter will be in High School for the entire movie and he will not be working at the Bugle yet.

John carpenter's "The Thing" was a remake of the 1950's sci-fi classic "The Thing from another planet" if Im not mistaken, the title sequence to the original thing was referenced in Halloween, showing John Carpenter's appreciation for the original.

Seeing the spiderman's origins again.. it has been done too many times so I'm sick of it!

It's like rebooting Superman. They did it so many times it got really old and boring. One refreshing story was the actual death of superman, in "all star superman". Why don't they do something like that? What's their obsession with the origin of the characters anyway?

I'm neutral but from what I saw in past pictures there's 2 much blue around the legs and he does'nt have the red band above his waste that he's suppose 2 have.If Marvel had full control over the flick like 4 the Avengers (I guess Sony can do this 2) then they could make a pulpy,gritty,slightly noir-ish "street level" sub universe 2 add & connect with the Marvel Cinematic Universe seen in Ironman,Thor and soon 2b seen in the Avengers.
