  • not a good day to be Delta.....

  • like if you think gary gordan and randy shurgot are badass

  • fucking monkeys

  • If only they had airsupport from F22 raptors!

  • @hunterroutten123 If only they'd existed back then! I don't think it would have helped, too many civilians to do anything

  • I agree, Africa is just another ungrateful bunch of asses who wants our food, not respect for the ones they gave them too.

  • @Hperman09 They want your food ; You want their gold, diamonds, cheap labor, etc. What should they be grateful for? Slavery? Delocalization of western entreprises that leads the world into the big shithole that we're in?

You guys are good in two things : 1) Killing people. 2) Giving the world every now and then incredibly awesome men and women that is making sound your country a little less crappy than it actually is. Ex : These two men.

    'Nuff said.

  • @feely33 It's their fucking fault thaty fight us in the 1st place. We gave them food and they spit at us.

  • @Hperman09 It's your fucking fault that you intervine on other countries issues in the 1st place. Don't whine about getting shoot at when you guys aren't welcome in the country you're going in. + you don't need any military to give food to people unless you know you're at risk in a specific area. Soldiers there sure did know what they were in are sure weren't complaining about risking their lives for a good cause.

  • @feely33 I believe we should not. Somalia is a rat piece of shit hole anyways. Better to watch them fight rather than feed them with food. The UN wanted us there for humanitarian aid. Where do you live?

  • @Hperman09 I live in Canada. I agree with you saying you should not have gone in Somalia. Pretty sure most Somalians agreed with us back then.

  • @feely33 Most Somalians do need help and the UN said they need help. But i agree, let's not give out handouts and we should go back to where our founding fathers were. Wen the world blows up, we just sit back and watch just like Ireland. Time for others to man up

  • @Hperman09 Way to go imho. Why wouldn't everybody sit back and mind his own buisiness to see how it goes. I think western countries have done so much wrong to 3rd world countries in the past that they'd be right to refuse any help from us + some of them are doing pretty well and just don't need us to be on the right track.

  • @feely33 Ya and i agree, when world blows up, we just sit back and watch, Time for others to grow up and stop acting like babies.

  • why would someone dislike this but whoever did fuck them in the deepest aybess in hell, please forgive me for the language

  • They were great soldiers =(

  • R.I.P Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon

  • I'm not even trying to be racist but native Africans, Asians, and Arabs are fucking wastes of human life, the live like rats in a fucking hole, and maul the dead bodies of brave heroes such as Shughart and Gordon. Along with the men from Operation Redwing and countless others, the world would be a better place if we just glassed even half of those places.

  • @TPStinger17 so u say all these shit and u say u r not racist u r pathetic fuckass bitch

  • This movie is about this operation and all but for me, the sacrifices of those two guys is what the movie is about ....

  • @Brandl72 Same, those guys had some real courage for what they did, and they weren't even ordered to which is even crazier. Without their sacrifice Durant probably wouldn't have even been taken POW.

  • @PunkHippie1971 Yeah for real they insisted to go there, if I was Durant, I'd go see them at the graveyard everyday ...

  • Fuck Africa. I mean damn, how long does it take you to learn not to shit in the water you drink? Let them chuck spears and fire AK's at each other.

  • True heroes! Gone but not forgotten!

  • I wish I couldve met those two men

  • They're like fucking monkeys

  • "we're it"

  • Is that a red dot on the m-14? It makes sense from QCB point of veiw but the .308s advantage Is that It hits harder 145-175grain bullet vs the 69grain ss 109 rd which was designed to defeat sovet body armor, Its a tribute to the fighting spirt of American solder that these two brave men were able to delay such a large enemy force.

  • they don't show it in the movie but there were originaly 3 men who were going in trying to delay the somoliis till help arrived but 3rd man got shot getting of the helo. he was extracted by the helo. durant was returned after being captured alive adid knew that a captured american was worth more than dead one.in the movie they even show durant talking with somali that offered him a smoke. The Americans had used the same tecknique multiple times before the battle but at night instead of day.

  • were the chainguns not operational anymore?

  • @TheJBurner Good idea, vbut they were at a different angle, plus they were coming from the front.

  • @TheJBurner I think, if I remember correctly, the miniguns could work while the heli was on the ground. It was something like that.

  • @BXAssasinatorXS Miniguns operate because they draw electricity produced by the engine. Just like headlights in a car. They're powered by the battery, which is charged by the alternator, which is producing electricity from the rotation of the engine. The engine here obviously wasn't on, so there was no use in even trying, because it wouldn't even begin to function.

  • Sir this Anvil-1, Requesting permission to unload an M134 on a bunch of pathetic monkeys

  • 07:35 WITH THIS GUN...FUUCK YOU SOMALIESS!!!!

  • MP5 WITH ONE HAND? GOOD!

  • Comment removed

  • Commander: were sending a rescue squad!

    pilot: ok il hold on

*rescue squad dies and pilot dies*

thats a hell of a rescue squad -.-

  • @ForTGamez the pilot didnt die he got captured and then let go

  • @lilmeyer13

to bad it didnt show in the movie.. your wrong

  • @ForTGamez the pilot michael durant from the 2nd crash was captued and then let go in 11 days after the raid, im right

  • @lilmeyer13

na your not right. stop thinking your smart there's no proof so you and me are wrong

  • @ForTGamez ya im right right cuz hes alive today and has speeches about the raid and they have photos of him after he was captured, dipshit ask anyone hes alive they let im go after 11 days of captivity.

  • @lilmeyer13

you stupid fuck, i was talking about the movie not In real life.

    Fuck off!

  • it was a bad call, wasted lives, stupid and dumb it just got more americans killed.

  • drop a nuke and kill all those worthless mobs....OMG YES

  • worthless somali pieces of shit the most pointless waste of space ever put on the planet somalia is a pathetic country

  • @AIRSOFT141uk nah, man, that's Mongolia. Now that's huge irrelevant piece of land :D

  • @AIRSOFT141uk Blame our fucking politics for sending us in , its always them who fucks shit up.

  • @AIRSOFT141uk Shut the fuck up we got OWNED..Why shud another nation attack another? obviously people will be issed u retard..

  • @easynowww first off, stop talking about war and men dying like a 13 year old talks about video games; it's incredibly stupid and disrespectful. second, we sent troops over there because they were in the middle of a civil war and 300,000+ civilians had already died from starvation and murder. we were there to provide support for the humanitarian relief and to kill/capture the warlords responsible for the slaughter. do some research before posting if u don't want to look like an idiot

  • @easynowww and by most estimates we killed at least several hundred Somali militia compared to 18 US soldiers. If that is your idea of getting "owned" then perhaps you are as bad at math as you are at spelling

  • @TP2Heisman Erm no we killed lot of innocents...Also because Somalies were an easy target as there were many of them so one solider can kill around 4 or 5..And plus Somalies were willing to die and put themselves out whereas our soldiers shot and ran. Also because we had more better weopons too and are better trained, in a way we got beat.. Bye.

  • @easynowww erm right innocents carrying around ak-47s and shooting at uniformed United States soldiers. How did we get beat if in the end their body count far outnumbered ours and we left with many of the high ranking officials we were targeting? Also, less than a year later the major warlord we were after, Farrah Aidid, died from injuries sustained in another battle. I hope to God you are not American because if so, our education system and your parents have failed miserably

  • @easynowww Stop saying "we". You don't deserve to be grouped with these brave men who laid their lives on the line for each other and for innocent people in a 3rd world country. You're a fucking disgrace I hope you're deported.

  • @AIRSOFT141uk

    not a country ¬¬ *shithole.

  • No wonder white people are racists XD I idolize these guys, fuckem somalians, if only these 2 men were wearing juggernaut armors... THEM FUCKING SOMALIANS CAN FUCKING KISS THEIR ASSES GOOD FUCKING BYE!!! I FEEL proud to say that, THESE TWO SOLDIERS SHOULD BE A WORLD HERO!

  • @soulwrrior25 people always reference call of duty to real war stfu play your game and dont talk about people wearing stupid COD made up armor that's just disrespecting the dead..RIP... 7th Marines

  • Gary Gordon is the snipers spotter using the m4, and Randy Shughart is the sniper using the m14. And in case you all were wandering the voice you here in the credits is shughart.

  • I'm confused. Which two are Gary and Randy? Don't get mad for me not knowing this. Just a question.

  • @CantBuyMyPrideCA Gary is the one that dies first....... Randy dies last. The guy left is the Durant he gets captured.

  • i dont understand why command had to be so reluctant to send troops to help these brave dudes out..

  • @davidrox151 the troops were on there way the whole time they were like half a mile away

  • I have eyes like the pilot. Tho I'd be a Lt....

  • I get chills and goose bumps everytime I see this movie, truly amazing music, along with effects, god bless those troops.

  • I dont understand how so many people with Ak's could not hit 1 man.. Not that I wanted him to die... but wow. he's lucky.

  • @DeceasedZombie52 it just shows training vs assholes with rifles

  • Too many terrorist!I set off a grenade and blow me and the helicopter to hell!

  • "No soldier has ever won a war by dying for his country.

He won it by making the other son of a bitch die for his."

General S Patton- United States Army

  • To get the medal of honor you have to do something incrediabley stupid and brave at the same time. R.I.P Randy Shurghart and Gary Gordan

  • These guy is a real hero, they know that a lot of militia is coming for them but they don't give a shit.that's real hero for me.

  • People think joining the military is like Call Of Duty or some shit like that. well they are wrong, just this movie alone will show you what combat and the military really is. its not a game there is no reset button or respawn points. and these two men along with so many other men and women around the world serving give their lives to save another. thats what its all about its not about the guns and how many you kill its about honor, duty, respect, and trust.

  • @SierraNevada116 ive never seen anyone say that before i think its pretty obvious

  • @SierraNevada116 that was words of art

  • @SierraNevada116 "I don't think most of us can understand that kind of mutual devotion. It's like having 200 best friends and every single one of them would die for you." - Tom Sizemore [Telling his experiences at Ranger bootcamp, preparing for his role as LTC McKnight for the filming of Black Hawk Down]

  • @SierraNevada116 finally somebody said it, imma be honest i do play COD i like it but before that ive always waned to be in the Marines my dad is Marine Force Recon he fought in Panama, Desert Storm, Somalia, and this war. I watch these movies with him he can barely watch them then he says all ur friends of that video game dont understand what its like to protect someone and sacrifice your body. Semper Fi

  • @SierraNevada116 Amen the men fight for there brothers in arms, People dont understand that when your in a military or even police unit the people you serve with are family. my experiance is more in police field as all I did during my time in 90s was derect traffic and patrol facilities

  • @SierraNevada116 This scene, the scene where they have to clamp his artery, and the omaha beach scene is SPR are the three essential scenes to demonstrate this point to anyone.

  • @SierraNevada116 Well I agree with you, but I'm pretty sure only a retard would think that it was like call of duty.

  • @SierraNevada116 i dont think that those in active duty care about those things, to quote hoot; its about the men next to you

  • its always our brave men who die in shitty countries for nothing, while politicians sit back and get rich. its not our job to save the world. protect our people, our borders, and keep our boys in america where they belong

  • Shugart was shit frist,Gordon went to save him and got shot in the head then Shugart got shot again(thats what acctuly happened)

  • I am in the new school Shugart .I live in North Carolina and have heard how this happened, please dont make fun of these two heros

  • a hero isnt any braver than any other man, but its brave 5 minutes longer, dont remember who said that...

  • True bravery was shown by these two men. They are perfect examples of the U.S. Military's might and also feelings toward one another. They knew what they were asking for, but refused to allow anyone to attempt to kill their fellow soldier. Not once but twice they requested to go in and help their man. Despite the crowd's numbers they still wanted to help the pilot escape. If it had not been for them then the pilot would have been killed. Their story will never be forgotten. RIP.

  • It would be scary being that commander and watching you men go dwon like that, Fighting for there helpless lives being dragged through the streets. Hribble World R.I.P Randy Shurgart and Gary Gordman

  • These are real men true soldiers

  • Would they be technically referred to as designated marksman?

  • @McMeevin

Delta organizes its Operators into two categories; Assaulters and Snipers. Assaulters serve on the Assault troops of each squadron and are the guys who do the majority of the door-kicking, room-clearing stuff. Snipers serve on the Recce troops and primarily are tasked with Special Reconnaissance, and traditional Sniper overwatch missions while the Assaulters take down the target.

  • That asshole who shot randy so many times. Tear his ribs apart and pour oil inside. Then drop in a matchstick. Finally, take a mini gun and marauder his face then leave 19 grenades(each for the lost ones) 2 C4s(For randy and gordon) and then detonate. That is only 2% of what Randy's family would do.

  • i wonder what kind of people cant like the video :|

  • This heroes deserve respect.Real heros. They know they cant escape and they not give up and fight to last bullet. They know about the place is full of enemy but they want rescue crew of black hawk.sry for my bad english

  • Bravery isn't not being afraid, it is doing what is necessary reguardless.

These men were brave and true heroes.

  • Bravery isn't not being afraid, it is doing what is necessary reguardless.

  • ok guys... tell my WHY they didnt send little birds until steel and his men went back?

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 The little birds would have been torn apart by rifle fire during the day. That's why they only sent them at night.

  • @Corsair01r They will if they stopped they will like get 10% if they fire and keep flying at their max speed

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 Yea, 10%. You realize that this isn't a game and the Military won't risk anything unless it is almost guaranteed (Mogadishu was a bigass failure by the military as they underestimated the Somalis). Also flying at firing at full speed will waste ammo, fuel and do you realize how many times they would have to go back and forth for refueling and rearming? Well if they even survive the skirmish.

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 I think you don't know anything about military strategy. If the helps fly fast, they risk the chance of hitting their own guys. They will waste bullets. And in the daytime, there is rifle fire, RPGs and MG fire. A little bird heli costs a lot. Will you pay the cost if one gets shot down??

  • @strigon11 lil birds have rocket launchers and exploding bullets and their men were like 5-20 feet away from enemy positions and those delta's used lil birds for transport e.o

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 The little birds dropped them at open areas away from enemy fire. If they flew in daylight, they are like bulls eyes with rotors.

  • The bald guy on the radio is from X-men First Class He is also in Transformers 1 and 3.

  • @counterstrikenerd321 hes on all transformers movie mr blind

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 go fuck yourself? just pointing things out,

  • @counterstrikenerd321 go fuck ur sorry eyes im pointing things out too im "poiting the thing" that hes on transformers 2

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 Your immaturity blinds you... Why the hell are we talking about that actor? He's not a main character like Willifam Fichtner, who was in Christian Bale's 2003 "Equilibrium"

  • @counterstrikenerd321 u started this conversation about glenn m0r2h0w3r

  • @Duk3N0k3m2 Fuck Glen Morshower and you too.

  • who was talking at the end????

  • mother fuckers! kill every damn CIVILIAN TO in THAT DAMN COUNTRY!

  • This always brings a tear to my eye that was so courages.

  • durant destroyed those africans with that fukcin mp5 dear god.

  • 11 dislike. were those 11 people were mad or what they disliked this. this was not a song that you did not liked it. this was real two brave people gave there people. i am a Pakistani and a Muslim too and i also liked it

  • I finished reading "In the Company of Heroes" by Michael Durant. He was in Gary Gordon's hometown to attend a ceremony and rented out a book about the Medal of Honor from the local library. The library checkout card on the book showed it was 20 years since the last person rented it out and it was by none other Medal of Honor recipient and the man who saved his life, Gary Gordan. What are the chances of that. It blew me away.

  • @g0rning Really? Wow. Its really sad how he gave his life right?

  • Comment removed

  • great guys! indeed brave" sad thing it was a complete failure and they only saved one from the crew....if they just had known only 1 was alive they should have left him till the cars came....he would mostl ikely have been dead, but better thán 2 dead

  • @ptccashmoneymaker That is what being a delta force operator is about. Giving your life for others. They were brave and courageous. We should all learn from their act of honor.

  • @ptccashmoneymaker WILL YOU STOP CALLING IT A FAILURE??!?!?!?!?! DO YOU THINK BY SAYING IT THERE WILL BE ANY GOOD?!?! EVERYONE HERE IS BROUGHT TO TEARS BY THEIR BRAVERY WHILE YOU ARE HERE SAYING "sad thing it was a complete failure". STOP BEING SO ****ING HEARTLESS WILL YOU?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @strigon11 Ok, it was a success...1 saved 2 lost. and humiliated...im not heartless, But you must know this, if they KNEW only 1 was alive, and the others from the crew was dead, they wouldnt have let them go in...that why they didnt send a helicopter more - the risk of losing more lives or more people needed to be saved was too high...They were indeed brave, but losing 2 soldiers so proffesional and brave, is a really heavy loss.

But it was a success, lets just say that <3

  • @ptccashmoneymaker The whole crew was still alive back then. When Randy and Gordon ran out of ammo , they were killed along with three crew members. Mike Durant was the only one who survived.

  • Too bad bravery like this is wasted in all these pointless little wars.

  • 11 people arent american. Unless they disliked this because its sad. but very brave. RIP

  • DM's!

  • two of the greatest guys ever

  • Funny and scary that all the cod kids comments "We're the sniper rifles, when they're snipers?"... really?

  • The gross thing was when mike durrant was hit in the head with the butt of the rifle,it wasnt a rifle,it was a human arm.read his book and he said that. These people they are fighting were scum, sent in there to help the civilians get aid with the u.n,and they turned on them

  • fact: most people that see this and say "I do it" about 79% of them are lies from people that play CoD and say it's real war, okay if it was me I don't know if i do it but in the long run I well at lest try yeah i may die in the line of fire for a place that isn't as true as they say they are, but it's all for fighting and dying along with your brothers in arms, and to anyone that says Call of Duty is just like war your a fucking fool.

  • @FitnessExpertise I probably would have, honestly. I'm not scared to die and I'd rather be shot saving someone that survive chickening out. Shughart and Gordon should have a holiday dedicated to them.

  • SHARPSHOTERS!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Lesson learned: Don't fuck with trained killers.

  • respect to both of them they saved durandts life

  • These men are heroes! Anyone who doesn't agree can get the fuck out of here!

  • Animals! if i were in command id kill every single fucking person in that country

  • @nativekids2010 I've been saying for five years that we should just nuke the whole fucking country and kill everyone in Mogadishu, but noooo.... nobody listens to me...

  • @yesiamawizardjonny yah bro they kill like animals they should die like animals

  • @yesiamawizardjonny That is called genocide. It is a crime against humanity. How about we throw you in when the bomb blows?

  • They knew they weren't going to make it out of there. Absolute heroes, nothing even comes close.

  • Where does Shughart get the M16 from?

  • @KewlGuy98

It was one of the crew chiefs weapons. There were a couple of rifles and pistols on S-64.

  • if it ment saveing my friend i would do it and i would end every one of thoses animals until i died just becase my friend was down there just to give him hope to get pay back for the pain theve cased my country my brotheres my friends my famly semper fi forever

  • what the music in 4:32 5:09

  • Team One.....both Got the Medal...

  • I Like This Part Of The Moviie But Its Sad

  • Am i the only one who notices the mistake at 6:00???

  • @WulfenFtw no mistake gordan asked durant if they had weapons on the heli and he said yes 2 m16s he gave one to durant and kept one

  • @WulfenFtw Not a mistake. I just read the book and Shughart asked if there were guns in the Black Hawk and Durant said there were. Shughart got one and got another for Durant.

  • When they were asking permission it reminded me of what Gimli said in the las Lord of The Rings film. 'Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?' R.I.P

  • God Bless these men

  • 7:43 DONT RAPE ME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ser Jaime Lannister with a sniper.

  • Two against a thousand, zero chance of sucess, zero percent chance of survival.....lets go! Absolute heros, in every sense of the word.

  • @swordfish210 I don't think anyone else besides them would take those odds.

  • And they should of picked up a few AK's, woulda helped a little bit.

  • @jellyfilleddonut7 they did they were there for like 4 hours they ran out of ammo in their guns gave a m16 to durant and randy kept one and they used aks and ak74s

  • @runeman1996 Mike had an MP-5 he was my over water pilot true hero stayed in till retirement age even after all that crap.

  • @faid383 yes he did then shugart came back with a m16 from the chopper and gave one to durant and himself

  • @swordfish210 they had to try to leave men helpless to be butchered is just not done and if durant could have walked they might have gotten out

  • @sass225 You plank, do you actually engage your brain before you type? At any point in my comment did i say that they shouldn't have bothered...No i didn't.

  • @swordfish210 but it was a failure...they saved one, and both died...why didnt they send another chopper? they would have lose more men....of course they should help...but when sending 2 in, they only did it because they thought/hoped more people of the crew was alive, if only this 1 guy, it was stupid if they had knew it...as 2 died 1 saved is a complete failure and gave the somalian militta a morale boost by humiliating the dead bodies

  • @ptccashmoneymaker "Sending in", did you actually watch the clip? They wern't sent in, they wanted to go in because they couldn't sit back and watch a fellow soldier be brutally murdered by a mob. You might be OK to kick back and watch someone die while reassuring yourself with thoughts like "It's for the greater good" but thankfully there are people in the world with better morals than you

  • @swordfish210 first of...i got the movie...second...as i said, this isnt about feelings or morale...why were they in somalia? to get farad (spelled lol)....they lost 2 guys, and saved one....usa lost 2 lives and saved 1....´the militia got a victory, and if u r starting to talk about moral...then why not nuclear the whole area or send in all the black hawks they got?....because it would cost MORE lives than can be SAVED....besides a soldiers is expensive, and risking 2 lives for 1, is stupid

  • @swordfish210 they did a great job....but IF....they had KNEW that only 1 was left then they shouldnt go in there by themselves, as they knew the risk and the high risk of failure...then they should wait for the convoy which tried to help them...in war u have to be economic and think, instead of just letting ur feelings get away with u...this is a movie so u might get all emotional...its sad, but still 2 lives was lost for the cost of 1....if we were doing that all the time, we woould lose ½ pop

  • @ptccashmoneymaker Actually, in reality the five crew members were all alive but injured when the operatives arrived. Do remember that this is a movie and they have taken some artistic licenses with it. However, it must be noted that the crew members were eventually beaten up to death after Shugart fell. So there was actually some sense of them attempting to save 5 people. Cheers to Gordon and Shugart, they were badass.

  • @ptccashmoneymaker Do you have to rub it in?! Everyone except you is touched by their decision. You say so because you think it is easy. It is not. Gordon and Randy's help was the only one near to the crash site and they had no time to lose. Next time you go shopping, buy yourself some compassion and a heart.

  • @strigon11 Nonono, u misunderstand...like alot of other people does...they gotr my FULL respect, they gave their lives, completed their mission...this is what a "HERO" is, they did what only few people would do, and even fewer would be able to actually be able to complete the mission...I am just saying that, i was a bit confused BECAUSE...if they KNEW ONLY 1 WAS ALIVE...it would be stupid to SAVE him LIKE THAT, then they should wait like not setting in a heli otherwise more would die - RIP

  • @ptccashmoneymaker What 'mission' are you talking about?! They were not ORDERED to go in and save them. They VOLUNTEERED themselves. Even if all were dead, they would have to secure the area for the ground troops to arrive and get the bodies.

  • @ptccashmoneymaker actually all of the crew of super 6-4 survived the crash. The rest of the crew were killed along with Gordon and Shughart. Listen to Michael Durrant's speech.

  • @sinusbradycardia I have heard that they survived the crash, but they were badly injured and surviving the crash is most likely the "easiest" thing in a situation like that.

Its just kind of strange that general Garrison isnt mentioned as a hero. In the movie they make him indirectly look like a hero, by helping drying up the blood from the floor, and irl he took all the blame.

  • @ptccashmoneymaker According to the speech of Michael Durrant, Washington is to blame. He openly criticizes the Clinton administration and calls their actions unforgivable. Meaning that the men should have been on some type of sea vessel and they should of had M1 tanks made available just in case this very thing happened. So either, as always, hindsight is 20/20 or the administration really screwed up. I would have to say it is a combination of both, due to the success up to that point.

  • @ptccashmoneymaker Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon volunteered. they were willing to give their lives to save another, which they did. That is the definition of heroism
