  • George - I know I am spelling this wrong, but Elvis had a home on a street named Peraguila Way (or similar to that), is that anywhere close to Cielo Drive. I am an Elvis fan even though I was only nine when he died.

  • @dewaynecullen I think you spelled it correct, Elvis lived at 565 Peraguila Way in Bel Air. It is a little south and a little west of Cielo Drive, you can Google the address to see for yourself if you would like. Elvis was one of a kind. Thanks again for the comment.

  • at 2.42 - what road is that that you and your mom are standing by the car?

  • I was in high school in 1976, graduated in '77. Why on earth was the house torn down ? It makes me sick--you can't get history back. They don't build old houses, they have to be preserved ! I'll bet something totally boring was built in it's place, just like the Cielo Drive house.

  • @cubomania3 Thanks for the comment, you are totally right..you can't get history back, it still make's me sick what they did. Thanks again for the comment

  • I love old home movies.

    This is amazing.

    Thank you.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • @GeorgeVreelandHill You are very welcome, I love old movies too, I have alot of them from the 1970s. I have one coming soon on the Twin House and Villa Bella being built. It sure costs alot of money to transfer film to CD so it takes me awhile to get them done. Thanks again for the comment. George

  • 1976 was a fun and crazy time for me, I will be putting more footage on soon.

  • Cool footage ,really cool !

  • You are very welcome, I am lucky I still have this footage, I wish I had been older and more wise about taking more footage, but...I was only 20 years old at the time so.......

  • Thank you for your comment, I wish the quality was better, I am having this video re-done so the color is better, thanks again. George

  • Great footage there!..Thx for posting!

  • Was there anyone living there at the time?

  • @Abraxazz45 I don't know, wish I had pushed the gate button and found out.

  • @Abraxazz45 Too bad her house was torn down. Was much better than what's there now.

  • @recoverfromhydro --I agree....it's a monstrosity! Sharon's house had charm.

  • Wich song is this ? its far out !

  • @sharon43tate There are three songs put together in this video. First one is Daybreak at Malibu, then Malibu, then Love Theme. All by Vic Mizzy.

  • @sharon43tate I love these songs fron the movie "Don't Make Waves" hope you guys like the video.
