Since I don't speak Japanese, I gotta ask this question.

What's the story behind this? With so many anime jumbled together, is there a cohesive story?

Also , what's that song that starts off at 8:40 - it's cool.

And finally, that powered suit at 1:24 - what show is that from?

@vlweb3d There is a coherent narrative, as the OG mecha are part of that. The song at 8:40 is Re:Birth by Acid Black Cherry and the mecha at 1:24 is King Gainer designed by Yasuda Akira from Overman King Gainer.

@thekingkelloggFMP's lambda driver, which appears very early into the serie, is one of the lamest things in the serie in my opinion and exceeds the seed mode for instance. without the lambda driver the mech fights in FMP would be better. but yea the m9 mechs would be perfect for non-super mech fights. evangelion is in the beginning of the serie allready far from real mech! its going beserk in its first fight and can regenerate itself....

no gundams are even closer to real mechs than those two.

--> the original 26 episode serie of 1995. also have seen the end of evangelion which is far better than the original end.

Evangelion re-lease OVA's/movies 1.0 and 2.0 am i planning to see in the future.

holy fuck they have OG series robots!!!! i really hope they still have the original ones like gundam RX-78 or even god gundam/master gundam, but idk why they're including sellout series like seeds or overman or even code greass (crossbone is alright) but they should focus more like srw Z with big O and afterwar X, and wtf do they have only char's counterattack w/ Z!?!? shouldn't they have wing and endless walts!?!? and even Nadesico but w/e. mainstream gaming now a days... I just hope it's fun

UC originals, be it design, story, or details overall, i watched seed and im disappointed with the story comparing to even the 1st mobile suit (let alone Z or ZZ) and lol if i were to list things that are from the US, do you think transformers could seriously beat voltron? lmfao power rangers over ultra man? i think not! XD

@donotbeafoolman well the first time ive been introduce into gundam yeah, it was something fenomenal. but now its kinda kine an average level anime since other mecha siries have better storyline exm: Macross, and design exm Zone of the Enders. just like Gundam 00. while most of the fan scream "ZOMG ITS THE BEST SIRIES EVA", i'll just "=_= meh". its not kinda excite me actually.

I thought this was a PS2 game at first since it does not look visually stunning. Hopefully, the gameplay will make up for that. I am hoping for a US release since I do not speak Japanese.

because the licensing issues that come up when you have mechs from different companies in one would make it a nightmare to bring over.

it just wouldnt work, and then consider how the west views mecha in general,

it just wouldnt produce enough money to justify how much they would spend to bring it over and still have a possibility of it not selling well.

@Byjuin Lucky for us, the PS3 is free of region coding. We'll be able to play the game without system mods if we import a copy, but unless you can speak Japanese, you won't be able to understand anything being said. Still, I'll take that over nothing at all.
