I Would have to agree with you and say skeith was the hardest of the 8 phases Not only because of the inferior healing abilities at the time, but it also seemed like the coding for the monsters and bosses in INFECTION was just more aggressive overall. Skeith would actively seek out my support character where as int he other games the monsters just seemed to get lazy and just attack everything in front of them.

Skeith is way harder then Macha It took me forever to beat Skeith but I beat Macha at lvl 78 with Kite Wiseman and Balmung first try but it took almost a hour though

Skeith is undoubtedly harder than Macha, though Suspicious Seduction is really a pain, but as stated by some people you didn't have very good healing skills and SP were a constant problem.

It took me about 5 times to defeat Skeith.

I think Skeith was harder than Macha but Macha certainly was a very very close second.

You didn't have superior healing skills with Skeith and SP issues so Macha was a bit easier.

in al 8 phasers skeith was by far the hardest (due to the fact he has a nack of killing your party members in 1 hit) Macha wasent that hard for me in all honesty, granted it gave me a run for my money but they is another glitch that i found out even though it made little diffrence i was able 2 corner her in a place, seems i havent play the 4 games in a long time i cant remba how to do it or who was in my party (i think i had natsume and mistral or balmung) still my fav phase has to be skieth

Having just fought Macha, I can say that she is indeed one of the hardest Phases I've ever fought (probably tied with Skeith). I swear, that charm attack was making me sweat bullets.

But it seems you had an easier time because you were doing lots of damage. None of my attacks ever went above 150, except for BlackRose's Vak Divider. And after Data Drain, you dropped her pretty quick. o_O

@brandsca123 time line would be, sign first then the games are basically before it then roots (g.u) as for aura, she's an A.I (artifical intellegence) who was created by the maker of 'the world' in the game as the main a.i, cubia was also made by the maker of 'the world' as a normal program, the games are for ps2 only, hope it helps.

Does anyone else find that "Laaaadaaaa...laadadaaa..." thing a bit creepy. I havent fought Macha yet, but that sound makes me not want to fight her (also the comments on how she uses charm loads of times.)

Funny, I was able to beat Macha at level 79 for the first time without any troubles, but the fight did take almost 14 minutes her only doing 3 charm attacks.

I guess I lucked out, but I don't find her annoying to fight. But, I found Tarvos one pain in the ass, he was literally a battle of the instant death cut-scenes.

Endrance linked with Macha's data, and was granted her powers in the form of an Avatar, and the AIDA took advantage of that by creating a physical form for him to obsess over, to keep him from realizing that "Mia" was already with him.

I noticed something about Macha. After she uses Data Drain, she uses Suspicious Seduction. So if you run in toward her before Data Drain, she won't use Suspicious Seduction. But after, run while you can, because soon after Data Drain, she uses Suspicious Seduction. That's a good stratagy. I still yet to face Macha though. *Still on Mutation*

Well I may be getting some of the facts wrong but when the Morganna Factors for the avatars were created, Mia was killed in the process. Elk blamed himself and vowed to change. Endrance is the result of this change. I think it was a bit drastic though...Endrance is awsomeness, but my face was stuck like this: O.O; when I found out he was Elk.

Drain Heart is basically a 40 SP version of 2128 Data Drain.

So it makes getting weapons and armors easier at the cost of a higher infection rate but can target all monsters on screen.

Assuming that every monster can be data drained all at once but its not worth using.

As for Suspicious Seduction equip Negative Physical attack power weapons on Kite + Balmung and you should still survive it.

Actually Mia is an AI, probably an altered version of Macha sent to explore human interactions or something along those lines, at least thats my theory. It also explains why she says "I only exist in 'The World'"

@Toothache42 Actually, Macha was the only one of the 8 phases that started to develop intelligence and question her own existence. So as punishment, Morganna created a false Player Character, and imprisoned Macha's power inside the PC, which was Mia. But, as the virus began to take more drastic effects on the game, Mia herself became infected, which ended up backfiring on Morganna, and freeing Macha. So I guess, technically Mia was (indirectly) the very first epitaph user.

The first epitaph user was suppose to be Sora, but he ended up being trapped in Skeith's wand. Well that's what I know unless I got it wrong.

Currently, Sora's consciousness was trapped in Skeith's wand until Cubia was defeated, then Haseo (Who is Sora seven years later) became the epitaph user that controlled Skeith, ironically enough. So you basically got it right.

Mia is Maha, who is Macha. an AI created by Morgana to represent the sixth phase of the cursed wave.

Technically...the people who operated Project GU under Amagi were the first epitaph users. however Sora (who is haseo) was forcefully bound to Skeith's wand, and during Skeith's persuit of Aura, Skeith frequently took Sora's form. Which is why in GU Skeith says "I have found you!" because he finally re-united with Sora, his old stomping buddy.

I found that if you cast suvi Lei, whatever the spell was that sped up your party, that using it on the whole party) negated Suspicious seduction! So you found it too. But when l did it l was around the 40's (can't be bothered with level raising!)and l'm proud of that achievement ^_^

Normally she's a pain. But.. that pathfinding bug that hit after Suspicious Seduction actually saved me that time. I'm STILL scratching my head about that one, it was out of nowhere and I was expecting this to take upwards of 20+ minutes like previous encounters. o_O

From the looks of it, you equipped the Sublimer. Personally, I just stuck with the Prepare to Die blades because the Sublimer is really, really ugly..
