  • @mKL01Q0O Flourishes in this case would be extra movements in the step at (say) the toe or ankle which at the time of this piece would demonstrate the great skill and finesse of the dancer. Much of Baroque music was written with the idea of the performer adding his/her own touches to the his'her performance.

  • I really like the dancers in this piece. Beatiful posture and movement of the costumes. My only criticism would be that there should have been more flourishes in the steps as this would have been used in the late baroque period.
