I do feel for Sheila Hyland after getting shafted by Sinclair Broadcasting group, for first the ill-faited News Central format...and then the news-share agreement with WPXI for their 10 o'clock news.
WTAE debuts it's brand new set at 5PM today (9-4-07)! WPXI-TV 11 will also debut a new set this month when they leave Television Hill for their new facilities. Just in time for their 50th anniversary.
FYI: The PG reported that WPXI will air a 50th Anniversary special Sept 22 at 10 PM.
