i live very close to dolly wood and go there all the time..this is one of my most favorite rides. the first time, i'm like, oh no way. as soon as i got off, i said, "Let's do it again!" i have rode it about 15 times. This ride kicks butt.

Does anybody know what Dollywood is building up from the Mystery Mine and across from the River Battle? I see signs that shows there is construction but I don't have a clue as to what they are buidling. I can only hope it is another roller coaster.

I was just there, it almost looks like they are preparing for Advent. Mountain, or they are placing a smaller ride (whatever it may be) to help hold us over until 2010. I will let you know, because I am going on March 29th

Tennessee Tornado, Thunder head, and mystery mine. The Tennesse Tornado NEVER has a big line. ITs usually very empty! And its the best/fastest ride there.

The very first time i rode Tennessee Tornado it took me about 1.5 hours to get through the line, but now that Mystery Mine is opened, it takes about 30 seconds (and that is just how long it takes to walk to the Coaster xD).

Anyway, to reply to you volleygirl1000:

All 3 of the Coasters (Mystery Mine, Tennessee Tornado, and Thunderhead), Blazing Fury, Timber Tower, The Scrambler, The Dizzy Disk, and Thunder Road.... Those are my favorites ;)

The trick was the second we got off, check the Q2Q real fast, and sometimes it would not have changed yet, and would say like 1 minute left, hit it really fast, wait a five minutes so they forgot us, and jump on back to the front.

The best thing about this ride is that you look and you are like "no way, it is not going to do that" and then it does

turn - it looks like that because the camera was bad, but still good for 25 bucks. A friend and I rode this thing over and over one day, seriously, probably about 30 times (this was because we had Q2Q and rode from the time they opened to the time they closed only stopping for a snack and to ride thunder head twice.)

dude. this rides not scary. theres only 2 things in this ride that grabbed my attention and creeped me out...

and that was when, both times, there were these two STRAIGHT-UP parts. i mean, you literally sat straight up, looking at the ceiling getting ready for a drop. it was kinda scary. but thats about it though. the "High Drop" is NOT high. im serious. it isnt high whatsoever. its just a little drop. thats it. overall this ride is pretty good, but its not scary one little bit.

I have rode this and let me tell ya there are two hills in this ride and they are both straight up so it's like your climbing a wall in a rollercoaster car. Also one hill is in the daylight and the other is in the dark.

I rode this in July. Nothing is really that bad on it unless you don't like going straight up or down. The only thing I can tell you is when you go straight up the second time and then stop if your sitting in the front DON'T LEAN FORWARD THE FIRE WILL HURT!!! This isn't a joke the fire is to close to the car and it will hurt so just stay leaned back on the seat. I was in the back two times and it was to hot for me.

Good video - the ride is good for Dollywood, its fun - especially the straight down drops. They have a new water ride coming in 2008 that is costing more than this one did.

Cedar Point is really Fun But so is this you dont have to get stuck up just because you have been to somewhere with 17 roller coasters i have been there too but i have also been to dollywood and it is very fun!

The camera had no light so the dark places stayed dark. It was a cheap $25 Tony Hawk Helmet cam. I don't think it did too bad for the type of camera it is.
