  • wow!

  • I love it

  • I wish he'd lay off the balloon drops. Some inconsiderate aholes don't know how to keep quiet with them.

  • No wonder this song, this hymn, always makes me teary-eyed. It is MY America, my country, my sacred land and no matter who plays the melody, I get chocked up. What the song really means is unlike any other hymn of the world. This IS the greatest country ever for freedom loving people, for opportunity for liberty. It is the shining beacon, the last bastion of individual accomplishment and endeavor; a light in the tunnel for the rest of the world. God bless the USA

  • To oranjuh..As the daughter of two classical musicians, who made their livings as musicians, I can tell you the critics are wrong. So what if Rieu makes money doing what he loves? It is wonderful that he, and his orchestra members, can survive while expressing their passion. Too few real musicians can do that. The most important thing Rieu does is bring real music to ALL; If not on the stage, through public television. He is accessible. The "Great" Composers would be ecstatic!

  • Beautiful song.

  • America should make this song her national anthem.

  • @AltRage I AM IN TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH YOUR STATEMENT! However, I'm also quite sure that once it became our national anthem, some musical murder nuts would butcher it just as they have the Star Spangled Banner.

  • bylem tam i na wlasne oczy-plakalem.I loved! Andre-geniusz w NY-citi!

  • At a concert a few years ago in Trenton, Andre said " 60 years ago, your country liberated my country. We can never thank you enough". He then played "America" just like in the video. Every one of the 10,000 in the audience stood. Even Democrats. Inspiring moment.

  • Rieu plays a Stradivary, valued about 3 millions dollars.

  • V PEACE! V

  • no matter how pizzed we get at our leaders,we as americans will carry on and win over those that would deniy us our freedoms that we some times take for granted

  • I DIDN'T MEAN TO "THUMBS DOWN THIS" !! How do I take it back? 10 THUMBS UP!!!!

  • who the fuck disliked this?!?! wheres the Navy SEALS team six??

  • No one knows the second verse, LOL.

  • Great America, all free men are with you !

  • @feurzauber gracie

  • A Wonderful performer doing one of the best songs on the planet for people in need. This song was so important to us in our time of despair, thank you for posting this...I will never forget the emotion that this song inspires in people! Myself included!!

  • Never forget 9/11

  • @jftscout never

  • Sublime...

  • Tributo a las muertes inocentes en manos del gobierno corrupto.

Petroleo? En el golfo de méxico?

  • I have now seen Mr Rieu perform America The Beautiful and Waltzing Matilda and both times felt the same experience as those who witnessed it live. Critics may condemn Mr Rieu for his performances but for me, he is a true gentleman, a gifted performer and a wonderful human being. May good health and good fortune follow him in life.

  • @essexlph The critic on him is that he performs classical songs that are written by the Great Composers of our times, while THEY never ever intended to have their music played the way Rieu is doing. What Rieu sees is only Dollar signs after every concert.

You can tell me whatever you want about Rieu, but you are blind to see this. You are the average guy from the street, that's why you love him. True music lovers of Beethoven, Mozart, Händel, etc. condemn him for using their music in this way

  • @oranjuh You say he all he sees are Dollar signs. Yet recently he nearly went bankrupt because he put every dime he earned back into his next performance.

  • @Hampers91 The guy still went from a nobody to a multi millionaire. If he gets "bankrupt" his company will be gone, not his personal wealth.

  • @oranjuh It will. The money he invests is his personal money as well.

  • @oranjuh T.O.U.G.H

Andre Rieu Is Welcome in My Home !

  • @oranjuh I was in NYC on 9-11-2001. 8 Blocks away on ajob interview that morning. If Andre Rieu wanted everything I own, He can have it, cause he is OK in my book ! PEACE

  • Det er jeres sang.. støt op om det man!!

  • God bless these United States!! May she ever shine her glory from east to west, from north to south, & to all generations till Christ's Second Coming.

  • @saraktash How is the penitentiary center called, that you locked in?

Is you desease curable? Anyway, I wish ood luck.

  • @wrexham56

First of all both your English & spelling would embarrass the most mindless idiot. Secondly, the penitentiary you're referring to is the one you were raised in, & never figured out how to escape. Let me know what your shrink thinks of you.

  • @saraktash Get yourself a milkshake and suck hard

    You bloody AMERICAN REDNECK!

  • this gave me shivers...so touching. I love my country

  • am tearin up!

  • I saw him perform this live in Portland OR and it was a teary experience, as RainhadoCano1 said, when all joined in singing. A true patriotic experience.
