  • My two germanium FF's sound good into cleaner amps, more smooth than my early 90's silicon FF,which sounded splattery and lousy quite frankly...**until** I ran it(fuzz set low, gain high) into some moderate tube overdrive and wow.In that setup the silicon sound was fatter and more complex than the germaniums, which were a bit too polite running into tube overdrive.

In short a splattery, compressed, gated silcon transistor sounds great ON TOP of tube distortion,it's key

  • Where is the trim pot inside? I have one and don't see it??

  • Yeah Andy, burn that witch! :D

  • Rock'n'Rooooaaaallll!!!)))

    I really want it!!!

  • If anyone wants one of these i have one for sale :)

  • why can you only use fuzz with 1-coils?

  • could I get a tonebender-like sound with this pedal?

  • what is he playing at 5:30?

  • Are Friends Electric by Gary Numan!!! That was driving me nuts.

  • HA!

  • does this pedal operate with a wah before it? or does it give that annoying sound

  • That really depends on the type of wah you are using. The RMC wahs have buffers in them to stop the oscillation you're referring to. The MXR 108 fuzz actually puts a buffer in their pedal to be used with any wah

    PGS.

  • Interesting. I really like the tone of my wah but was never able to use it in front of my Fuzz Face because of the input impedance of fuzz faces is too low. So what I did is built a simple buffer and placed it at the output of my wah. Problem solved. Non the less. I did not liked the wah before Fuzz tone,

  • Yay QOTSA at the start!

  • what is the man playin in the begining before the demo ? sound greaat !!

  • "Burn the Witch" by Queens of the Stone Age. Excellent song.

  • @pantstanker indeed, did u hear them crooked vultures

  • burn the witch burn to ash and bone

  • sounds like the recording is compressed to me, listen to the volume dip at the very beginning.

  • It's not the recording. It's YouTube. Go listen to the video on our website for high def audio of this clip.

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos What are the amp settings you did for this video review ? Please let me know I have to check something.

  • I take that back about the brightness -- the pedal seems set to a brightness similar to the YouTube demos of traditional, non-tone control-equipped silicon fuzzes.

  • the guy who makes these likes QOTSA:D not the first one with a QOTSA riff:D

  • I got this pedal in the mail last week and I highly recommend it, this video does not do the pedal it's full justice

  • What guitar do you use and what sort of amp/settings?

I'm thinking of getting this but i wanna know if its worth it .

  • Hey, f1sk8mm

I am interested in this pedal, what can you tell me about it?

what else should one expect from this pedal?

what sounds do you get with it (that are not on the video)?

  • some nastier fuzz sounds with the bit knob, this video shows off more of the cleaner sides of it

  • BURN THE WITCH TO HELL!

  • i love you guys but the first video sounded a little better, maybe guitar choice?

  • QOTSA. Fuck yes.

  • the bias controls two of three transistors?

  • burn the witch!

  • oopss...first ...i like it better than the neo fuzz

  • nice
