I went to see this band called Nirvana in 1992 when i was 15 @ Logan Campbell Center. Everyone says how lucky i was to see Nirvana live. They never saw the 3Ds.
DON'T READ THIS CUZ IT ACTUALLY WORKS YOU WILL GET KISSED ON THE NEARST POSSIBLE FRIDAY FROM THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE, TOMORROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE HOWEVER IF YOU DONT POST THIS TO OVER THREE VIDEOS YOU WILL DIE WITHIN OVER TWO DAYS NOW THAT YOU'VE STARTED READING THIS DONT STOP THIS IS SO SCARY POST THIS TO OVER FIVE VIDEOS IN 143 MINUTES WHEN YOUVE DONE PRESS F6 AND YOUR CRUCSH NAME WILL APEAR ONSCREEN IN BIG LETTER. THIS IS SO SCARY BUT IT REALLY WORKS
@beatlesmusica What Drums Bass Guitars and a bit of dynamics? Tho unlike the Pixies, The-3D's have a bit o class! Ahh Reminescing... Big Ups The 3-D's!
It's unfortunate that a few rejects on here don't know the concept of irony. Did it ever occur to you that the reason they're depicting those masonic images might be to acheive the complete opposite of endorsement!? Just because there are illuminati references in the video, doesn't necessarily mean they play for that team. Think about it.
Classic album. I remember ordering it directly from Flying Nun back in 1992. Took weeks to reach my NY home (along with Fear of God by The Bats). Both cds are great, but man I love love love Hellzapoppin.
I remember the last time I saw 'em was in the late 90's at a bar in Papamoa with Garageland. Unfortunately they didn't finish their set because they were too loud and the patrons at the bar next door were complaining!
Last time I saw these guys was at a BFM Private Function in mid nineties, down in the Auckland waterfront warehouses. I believe they recently reformed for a concert?
They have been released on C.D, The Venus Trail, Hellzapoppin, Strange News From The Angels and Caterwauling, but they're now extremely hard to find but now flying nun are gonna release a 3D's box set apparantly.
quu buena cancion y banda suenan increible jeje , me laten tambien outer space, Cash None,The Golden Grove y spooky y las demas canciones d eustedes me hacen rockear jeje saludos desde mexico city guys
YES!!! The Flaming Lips of NZ. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Thanks for posting this. Brings back great memories. I saw them open for Pavement once. Fantastic.
I heard this song on a 90s NYC alternative radio promo for the album and probably haven't heard it since; shit I never even heard the whole song. But was just reading an old magazine from '93 and that damn "i dream of a/the time, I dream of a/the place" finally just came back to me. Glad to find it here. What an awesome song!
The 3Ds 6-song EP called SWARTHY SONGS FOR SWABS is pure scorching brilliance from beginning to end....

i heard this whole album and it reminds me so much of sonic youth just as much as it does the pixies.

this song would be a "top 100 rock songs of the 90's" song if they wern't so unknown in this country.
llamasarus1 9 months ago
Space...face...place! How did this not win a Grammy? Many thanks for reminding me that the riff from "In a Big Country" is still a god one.

FYI The guys didn't know of the Pixies music. Call it parallel evolution.
