Oh and as a sidenote to the dude who didn't know who Paul McCartney was, he had two basses. One was his original and the other was given to him by hofner in I believe 1966. Pauls original was stolen but his still uses his other one to this day. I saw it :D
Tabs screwed me up big time. I've been playing guitar for seven years and it wasn't until about two years ago that I began to learn by ear. Tabs help but don't depend on them.
People need to stop relying on tab,it's near impossible to write your own songs from learning all you can play on guitar/bass from tab,it's much smarter and challenging to learn by ear or transcriptions,btw awesome playing dude.
Nice cover man, you did it great, oh and your bass rapes! I knew it was a real hofner, it had that look, the way the color fades from the sides to the center and the way the pickups look as well. Good job!

Hi, I have many beatles songs covered with a friend since years (in spite of that, actually I don't know him in person). He's in Merida, Yucatan, and I am in Guadalajara, both mexican cities, but about 3000 miles between them.
Personally, I think that you did well, but the stacotto notes are a little off- short then long, not long then short. By the last verse you did a great job at this. Also, I love that bass- It looks cool, and if it's the same one that I'm thinking it is, it only costs $350 on sale. How do you like the quality (just for my future reference) thanks!
no i dont. i got the same tab but after i listened to the song i could alter it until it was right. unfortunately im in ontario which is three provinces east of where i live so i dont have my tabs. and im not saying youre bad or anything. i just was letting you know.
watch your rhythm. some parts you sped up a bit. also if you listen to the bass in the song, the verse is wrong. when you slide up the neck, its supposed to be lower each time.
not quite. it's the höfner "original" copy. well at least it's still a höfner ;) anyone of you have an idea to get a cleaner sound on the record. i use the crappy iMac integrated mic. is there a way to connect the mac to the amp to record it directly "wire-based"

Hey thanks, actually the bass costs 848$ or 550€. The quality and the sound is great. It has a very warm and rich sound. It'S a Hofner HCT 500/1
