for any one not yet seen, you got to watch it.

  • holz0101 ur mum is sooo lucky:D

  • Life on Mars - best program on t.v. John Simm - sooooo sexy!!! Wasn't a great fan of his before. Must be the leather jacket and sideburns!

  • he dosent have the beard in doctor who he looks just like sam tyler have a look on the long version of the whole of the series hes on right at the end

looks mega cool! love life on mars!

  • my mum was at junior school with John - she says he hasn't changed a bit!

  • That's cool!

  • can't wait to see this man in doctor who!

  • Eh?

  • it looks like he has his beard and moustach e already to play the master

  • there is a new trailer on BBCi for who with him in it- no beard. i believe he shaved it off after he played van gogh

  • Best series on TV - brings back childhood memories. looks like John Simms was in the process of filming Van Gogh judging by his appearance.

    Yesterday's episode was great!

  • yes missy i remember ur character! haha gd for u i love life on mars.

  • I luv life on mars and i was actually in it !i got a small part as a school girl in episode5 of series 2 if u notice me a say hello in a flirty voice to one of sams officers look out for me !

  • Oh yeah, I remember you! Well done on getting in on a good TV program! I love life on mars!

  • I watched this series all the time and man, John Simms is hot! LOL!!!

  • wish i was in the 70s it looks so much better than the shit we live in today

  • "wish i was in the 70s it looks so much better than the shit we live in today"

Believe me it wasn't. Strikes, three day week, Industrial collapse, mass unemployment, threat of Nuclear War, USSR, Ted Heath, Things are so much better today, life on Mars is very nostalgic, but still very fun to watch.

  • you probably lived in the 70s but i am in the 70s

    IM STAYING

  • This is a fantastic series, and it will be a shame when it's all finised but thank goodness for DVD's. We look forward to video diary 2 BBC! It will be interesting to see how they will make it in the US as usually one series would be longer than both the UK series put together, and even though it's excellent they are probably wise to finish now, you can have too much of a good thing.

  • John John John John John! Come to think of it, British television is doing pretty well, we have lots of fans around the world watchin things like dr who and LOM

  • One more comment. I think the look of the show reminds me of a British copy show from the 70s, called "The Professionals". Anybody else remember that one?

  • You mean "The Sweeney"?

  • From the states, here. Series 1 was one of the best things on TV in years, and that is saying something. BBC America has given us some fantastic TV on Monday nights, when "Mystery Monday" airs. I'm hoping they pick up MI-5 ("Spooks" in Britain) after it was given the boot by A&E. Can't wait for LOM Series 2.

  • Superb series; best thing on telly.

Naughty BBC for putting football on instead! :)

But what was Annie doing on TV in that clip...?

  • This looks so great (apart from the buzz cut) -- c'mon BBC, send it to the USA. We're dyin' here!

  • In fan agony here in the US WAITING for LoM to return for the final 8 eps.

C'mon BBC - release the DVDs on Region 1 already!!

Great show, great actors - how can you not love the Guv and the gang. Phil Glenister and John Simm have created one of the best cinematic teams ever: Hunt and Tyler make television magic.

  • In fan agony here in the US WAITING for LoM to return for the final 8 eps.

theres gonna be a US version made by the makers of Ally McBeal

  • Thanks for the info, Xen31

I knew that David E.Kelly had the US version in the works, but watch this show and tell me that really matters...they may be able to produce something worth watching but they will never top the original. I am very grateful for my region-free player!! I just want a US release from the BBC so more friends/family can see what great tv is all about.

  • In agony here in the UK as its ended!! :(:(

  • I completely agree!!!

  • does anyone have a link for the unseen dr who clip, kcan't find it. ta

  • Even though this is the greatest TV show for a long long time & I love every second I am glad series 2 will be the last. There's nothing worse than a great show being dragged out 'til it dies with a whimper or people stop watching (X-Files anyone?) I bet this goes out with a bang!

  • This is great. Thanks for the clip.

John Simm is just so good.

Cant wait to see the last 5 episodes.

  • love this show!

  • "that is bloody good that"

  • This is, without doubt, my favourite drama of the past decade. Utterly delightful TV. And I bet anyone who is currently flogging a Mk 3 Cortina loves it too ;-)

  • 8 episodes in total I believe

  • how man epps in this series??

  • That was a treat! Thanks to whomever is responsible for making it available here. Looking forward to the rest of series 2!

  • I think that was his look for Van Gogh in The Yellow House.

  • Is that how John Simm is going to look when he plays the Master in Doctor Who?

  • Good one, can't wait to see that last episode
