@vxy26 it's cool that a non-chinese thinks so (I'm assuming). Mandarin is high-pitched...and maybe more lyrical but I love Cantonese more. I think of Cantonese as more informal and fun, so that's why I like it...though it's harder because of the tones.

I think it's just how the language sounds. I've had friends that speak Cantonese and they sound older too. also if you grow up speaking that language you can probably tell the difference between older and younger voices more easily.

Cally Kwong has made this character her own. I watched both English and Cantonese versions and I have to admit that they are very different now.

Cally recreated the character to make it sexier and prettier comparing to that in the original version which is much more girly.

Personally I like this Cantonese version more than the English one.
