the shirt trick wouldnt work for me, the paper clip way didnt work, i got an idea from another guys vid that had made a crank removal tool out of sheet metal, so with no sheet metal i find another suitable substitute, i cut about a 3/4 inch sq square out of a blank data cd, used like the tool, worked perfect, so was suggesting you make a vid showing it cuz i have no camera and it was just great
Yeh, mate, all I see you doing is holding the rag ... a major anticlimax for hacks like me who need to see the step-by-step how-to. But thanks for the great 1of2 video and detailed parts. I'm further along in the process of getting the door liner off than I was before I found your first video!
You don't actually need the tool in order to remove the clip. Just point the handle downwards and force a cloth upwards. That should be enough to remove the clip. If not, thicken the cloth by folding it and try again. (I managed to remove the clip with two screw drivers in the presents of a thick cloth which freed space for me).
