  • Hey, i can't find other videos of games written in GlScene and Delphi. Let me ask you one question: is it a game library, or it's just a graphic library, becouse this game is impressive...Did you make the models, the animation and the "ragdoll physics", or they are just presets? Last question: are you going to finish this game?

  • @cobrakillerz , it's a general pourpose graphics library, there is a lot of code to write to build out a game. I made the models using Blender and Fragmotion. The ragdoll physics are supported in GLScene. The game i actually finished, it needs some polishing, and some levels creation.

  • Nice work. I see you are using glscene (Pascal) as primary development platform. Can you comment a bit more on the techniques you are using?

  • For the physics i am using ODE with basic shape colliders and trimesh colliders.There are also other weapons not featured in the video, like grenade launchers and flame throwers:The flame particles are also ODE-powered.

    The AI of the enemies (There are several other enemies ) is based on Dijkstra (they can walk complex ways to reach a target).

    I used wisely the BunnyBump to get the cool effects for reflecting surfaces see the gantry starting at 4:19)

    I also use LOD, BB culling, dynamic lights.
