  • this ride looks intense ill vid thrill production ftw

  • millenium force is the only existing giga coaster this isn't one

  • Comment removed

  • millenium force is taller than this and so is top thrill dragster and kingda ka

  • King's Dominon! Maryland Virginia!

  • @nellie2581 Kings Dominion is actually in DOSWELL, Virginia. :)

  • @ScorpioDreamer1984 I don't remember. But I used to go there when I lived in MD. Now I live in NY.

  • be proud! you stole a video from someone else!

  • @THELAUGHATTAK youre a fag. go learn some more geometry

  • @bananaman453 so if Farenheight ( spelling ) at Hershey Park in PA

  • @SMEhippiesss YES thank you for pointing that out. cuz king da ka is the tallest and fastest in the east cost and tallest in the world

  • @THELAUGHATTAK Maverick at Cedar Point has a first drop at 95 degrees and Fahrenheit at Hershey Park's first drop is 97 degrees.

  • a lot of ppl i talked to blacked out on this.

  • ur all arguing over the 80-85 degree drop oblivion at alton towers in the uk is a 90 degree drop and the new saw ride at thorpe park also in the uk is beyond vertical at 120 degrees inverted drop so these 2 are quite tame actually

  • @jbrand2002uk umm just to let you know i oblivion is like 2 seconds long probably a good ride and also just because saw has a 120 degree drop does not mean it is more intense or better than the maverick or farenheit i bet both are better than oblivion and saw just saying not saying that saw is bad its just not AMAZING. i mean i think that millennium force's 310 foot tall hill (93mph)80 degree angle drop and intimidator 305's 305 foot tall hill(90mph) and 85 degree angle quash saw and oblivion.

  • road this ride today. while I don't even consider myself to be any sort of expert, this is definitely the best ride I have ever had. Short blackuot from the gforce on the turn at the bottom of the first drop. Ride the coaster then critic it.

  • @SMEhippiesss Millennium Force is 5 feet taller, so this is not the tallest coaster.

  • You black out soo easily on this!

  • Rode it today, fucking AMAZING.

The drop is insane, I blacked out for a good 10 seconds.

    But so awesome~!

  • @Tylkem24: By the way, you should get your facts straight.

MF and Intimidator305 go nearly EXACTLY the same speed.

The drop is ALSO exactly the same, except Intimidator305's angle of drop is 85 while MF is only 80. Who cares how tall it is, the drop is what you actually feel.

  • @Romeighla true but millennium is steeper longer thus, more freefalling and has a greater feeling of speed. that DOES NOT mean that the intimidator 305 isn't an AMAZING roller coaster also. :)

  • @Tylkem24: You're fucking stupid.

I don't care if Millennium Force is "taller". THE DROP IS STILL THE FUCKING SAME AS INTIMIDATOR305'S.

  • the turns are insaneeee.. super sharp:)

i rode it twice and my eyes teared up everytime bc its soo frekin fast

    ahmazing:)

  • @MiSsMiKeNiKeS: Fuck yeah!

There were water coming outta my eyes!

I thought I was the only one!

  • @bes555lp: Some people say it craps all over Millennium Force.

I rode both coasters and I can tell you- they're BOTH fucking fantastic.

While I enjoyed Intimidator305 a little more, MF is also great.

The drops are both the same height, anyway. :)

  • @Tylkem24: You need to open your damn eyes and learn how to read.

I hope you realize Millennium Force's drop and Intimidator305's drop are BOTH the same height.

    300ft.

  • haha yeah i heard a bunch say this is better than millenium.....that disapoints me cause Cedar point is my home park and now there gonna have to step up the game in the next few years

  • @bricemilleson: lol yeah.

Well, regardless, MF is still a nice ride. haha

  • @bricemilleson trust me Millennium in my opinion is better but if i go from what people say millennium force is just as good as intimidator 305 nothing to be worried about both great awesome coasters!

  • now that i look back at this animation........

it really did make I305 look like a big piece of shite.......

haha.......many pissed unhappy fans realised they were wrong.....

i think thousands and thousands of people are rejoicing too, because now they know they were wrong! and very happy to be!

    I305 ROCKS!

  • @rollercoasterfan97: I agree.

I looked at it and I was like "aw, it's not as scary as I wanted it to be," then I got on and realized I was in for a HUGE FUCKING SURPRISE.

    It was amazing, man, amazing!!!!

  • ....im riding that this friday.... oh my god

  • you recorded another utube video.

  • no, look at the bottom of the stupid screen, you can see that video time bar is not a youtube one.

  • When We Go There I'm Going To Ride This RollerCoaster 1st. Like We Did The Griffon At BushGarden's (Rode Twice Front & Back), Turbo Coaster & Dominator I Feel Sorry For The Small One's. Live It Up In Those "Fake" Seat's. : )

  • thats dead ima be the first one to ride that thing!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is exactly like millenium force with height and speed which the force wins as it goes 93 miles an hour and top hill is 305 feet.

  • @jgreene737: Millennium Force's drop is actually 300ft off the ground.

    Intimidator305's drop is ALSO 300ft.

The difference is of the coaster layout, and that Millennium Force is more "off the ground". That's it. They're both pretty amazing.

  • @jgreene737: Actually, the angle-degree of the first drops are different.

While MF is ONLY 80 degrees, Intimidator305's is 85- which is closer to going straight down.

    Intimidator305 ALL THE WAY!! <3

  • WAIT! if Flight of Fear is only 54 mph.................. (trust me, ive been on flight of fear)

  • Comment removed

  • actually the tallest fastest coaster on the east coast is the kingda ka at around 500 feet tall and at aroung 130mph in jackson nj

  • that's not a continuous circuit ride - it's a launched ride, thus not accurately classified in the giga-coaster race.......

.......that's like comparing a drop tower with a coaster.....

  • @JudgeAxe I hate to correct you, but Kingda Ka is a continuous circuit coaster. What you're reffering to is called a shuttle coaster in which the train goes out to a point and then comes back on the same track it went out on. Look for the Face/Off at Kings Island video on my channel. That's a perfect example of what a shuttle coaster really is. Secondly, Kingda Ka is actuall classified as a Stratacoaster which coasters above 400ft are called.

  • @JudgeAxe: Exactly!

    I agree.

  • @flamemagitin 456 FT 128 MPH

  • actually the kingda ka has a height of 456

but the drop is only 418ft so saying 500ft is exagerating the the spped is about right.

btw they prob mean the tallest in the park??

  • @MotionVids: Tallest OF IT'S KIND to hit the mid-Atlantic.

So apparently, A LOT OF PEOPLE are incapable of reading, and understanding!

  • @Tylkem24 they said in the mid-atlantic not in the world

  • sw6

  • i hope they have a cat walk on both sides cause if this coaster breaks down on the lift theyre screwed if they dont

  • i wish it was at kings island

  • yeah, but you guys just got diamondback, even though i know that this is much bigger.

  • yea i suppose, id rather have this one than that one though

  • Diamondback is okay. But if it didn't have a splashdown it wouldn't be as fun.

  • kings island has the advantage of unique coasters, whereas most of kings dominion's coasters are either clones of coasters elsewhere, or are very similar. they owe it to KD to get a massive and unique coaster.

  • true

  • Nice i have to go check it out next year, but it doesn't stand a chance to mf

  • thid ride does not stand a chance to mf

  • Actually this ride will put Millennium Force to shame.

  • ok so you can have the better ride. I'll take the better park. cedar point #1!

  • it would

  • wow ur cool

  • why the fuck couldnt carowinds get this one instead of its little brother. fuck that

  • The Intimidator at Carowinds looks waaaayyyy better than the trashy Intimidator Kings Dominion got.

  • @MynameisTitus13: You haven't rode Intimidator305.

Technically speaking, your opinion doesn't really count.

  • yes surgery will be fun on that coaster!!!!!

  • #2 best

  • i dont get it......Millennium Force Is 310 ft tall and goes 93 mph, so what are they saying ?

  • @bricemilleson: The coaster is 310ft. tall, but the drop is ONLY 300ft.

Intimidator305 is 305 ft, but the drop is also 300ft.

  • @Romeighla now does that really make sense that both havee 300' ft drops cause the coaster needs room for supports under it i think they should of made it so the millennium goes a drop of 305 ft that leave 5ft of room for supports and i305 300'ft but again both great!

  • @blaserflame: Yeah, I don't really know.

Millennium for whatever reason has 10 ft for support and 305 only 5 ft of support.

I don't know why. Maybe they didn't think of that before.

That would be pretty crazy for at the time it was made, and besides that, it's already a really GREAT coaster regardless of how tall it is.

    Remember, height isn't everything.

They're both equally great, like you've said. I don't know why they didn't do that... lol. Makes half sense at least!! x]

  • @Romeighla Yeah Intimidator at Carowinds has 21 feet of support! #LOL

  • U no they use these same screams 4 all new ride povs. They used it 4 Goliath in GA!!! They have screamtracks. Did anybody no that?

  • For those of you morons who claim this "stupid coaster" doesn't have any hills, what's going on at 1:02 and 1:23 and 0:27? The hill at 1:02 is bigger than any of Diamondback's hills... almost bigger than Diamondback itself! (the hill is well over 150ft tall, diamondback is barely over 200ft)

  • damondback is 230 ft tyvm. and why does it matter? loooks like a great coaster to me

  • Diamondback sucks and is vastly overated. Its slow and boring and the drop isnt all that great. All you get is a bunch of airtime and nothing else. No zero G's at all.

In fact, all the B&M hypers are overated, besides Nitro.

  • i happen to hink that diamondback is a great coaster.

in my comment when i said "looks like a great coaster to me" i was talking about intimidator. I've ridden diamondback, and i have to say i thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • If you like slow coasters & a ride that gives you that floaty feeling in your panties (positive G's), then you will love Diamondback

I've ridden Diamondback atleast 15-20 times this year, mostly front & back, & it is no where near as good a major attraction ride should be; such as Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Bizarro (SF NE), or Maverick. Hell, I'd even venture to say rides like the Raptor & Son of Beast (closed unfortunately) are/were better rides than Diamondback

  • And larryjerry, I find it a bit odd that in your first comment you say that diamondback "looks like a great coaster", but then in your 2nd comment you say you've ridden and enjoyed it.

    Contradict yourself much?

Also, the majority of people here in Cincinnati say that Diamondback isnt all that great and is very overated.

Fact is, a ride like Intimidator 305 would've truely put Kings Island back on the map. Now that Son of beast is shutdown for good, the park has taken a step backwards

  • did you not notice in my second comment i said "in my comment when i said 'looks like a great coaster to me' i was talking about intimidator"?

And I know diamondback is overrated. very few coasters go above the hype that gets created for them. very few. But i still like diamondback. And it really isn't as slow as it seems, unless you think 80 mph is slow

  • Good deal then.

Just dont hype it up like its something fantastic or out of this world.

And yes, it is as slow as it seems. I've spoken with Ryan the engineer coordinator several times now, and was informed after the first drop, top speed of this ride is only 62mph and gets slows as you go.

Not to mention, there are way too many trims on diamondback that slow it down way to much after the first hammerhead. 3 in total in different sections, as I was told.

    80 mph my ass.

  • well, I know it slows as you go, and i don't think the thrill comes from speed in the ride. I really liked the ride for the airtime. It isn't anything special or extraordinary, most B&M's are just like Diamondback.

It's just a good ride, no more, no less.

  • Yes, I've already stated this and you would've read what I previously posted, I said all these new air hog Hypers from B&M were all the same, just in differ variations of speed and ride dimensions.

B&M sells multiples of these type coasters due to the fact that they make the most profit margins off these particular setups, which doesnt really speak well for them.

But like I said, if you like that floaty giggly airtime in your panties feeling (positive G's), then you will love B&M hypers.

  • that doesn't speak well for them at all. I'm okay with airtime, but i still like the feeling of suspense and speed (like in Beast)

  • Speed and negative G forces is what real coasters are all about.

Kings Island failed to give that to us.

If we had a GIGA like Intimidator 305 though, people would forget all about a coaster like Diamondback. In fact, in a few years when Cedar Fair adds a few more major attractions to the park and fixes or replaces Son of Beast, Diamondback wont even be the best ride in the park. (only reason it would be now is due to SOB being down though)

  • Ya, it's about time KI got a giga. They've got some of the best coasters in the world, so they need to make another attempt at that. Diamondback just didn't do that. And I hope to GOD that they fix Son of Beas. I like that ride too much. Personally speaking, I've never head a bruise or headache after than ride, and i rode it with the loop several times

  • Same here.

And I've heard rumors that the lady who got the ride shutdown had a heartattack after getting off the ride and actually had previous heart problems before getting on the ride.

They specifically tell you before getting on any coaster, that it is not for people with heart problems, recent surgery, pregnant, ect; but people do not listen.

I think in all the time SOB has been open, only 27 have complained of injuries, and that was BEFORE the loop was even taken out. Now this bs.

  • I know! I mean, I can understand getting rwally bewaten upp if your big (like my dad, he's come off the ride with bruised knees) but except for that track cave-in there have only been what, 2 or 3 actual injuries? It's a load of crap

  • This is King's Dominion

  • I realize that :P

  • "well, i know it slows as you, and i dont think the thrill comes from speed in the ride"

Thank captain obvious, as I have said this twice already now.

You wanted to argue 80mph speed like it was consistent throughout though, when in reality thats not the case at all. Now you're changing your tune to that you know that it slows throughout.

By the time you come to the last helix, you're not even topping 55mph anymore.

Honestly, the ride sucks compared to other major attractions

  • Did you hear diamondback is getting a new name? called Reptile Cage. my sister works there and it was said to stay private because a six flags park has a Diamondback

  • No hills? I think you'd better watch that video again. It has a huge hill coming out of the first helix, then two more airtime hills parallel to the lift hill. 0:27 1:02 1:23 those hills definitely rival Diamondback's. Think before you post.

  • well anyways does anyone know what the G forces will be or will we just have to wait till they test this ride for real?

  • and this ride has no massive hills cuz its not a hyper its a giga! giga coasters r all about speed and hypers r all about airtime hills... btw this ride will have 6 air humps it said it on the annoucment so :P

  • Not true. Giga just means it's 300-399 feet tall. Millenium force is a giga, and it has airtime, no?\

    Think. then post ;)

  • oh thanks i appreciate ur constructive critisim

  • Actually, Millennium Force has little to no airtime at all.

  • you retard giga's are all about air time hills

  • yea i know they r also about speed thats y they make them so tall

  • 4 real.

  • y do u guys have to compair this to other rides and like talk trash about it when it was just anouced just enjoy the damn ride!

  • I agree

  • I think this ride is all about speed, not so much the hills... Remember it's NASCAR themed....

  • if you recorded on computer u could of used hypercam

  • VIRGINIA BABY!!!!!!!! CANT WAIT!

  • awesome!

  • I AM REALLY MAD. Why couldn't Kings Island have gotten this???? :(

  • i know!!!

  • what do you mean?

  • Diamondback is better (atleast Diamondback actually has hills).

  • diamondback is much better than this ride this only has 1 drop....and few miles faster....plus this ride is going to be short...lol...

  • No hills? I think you'd better watch that video again. 0:27 1:02 1:23 those hills definitely rival Diamondback's. Think before you post.

  • because we got a B&M which is better than intamin. Realize with Diamondback and I305, Cedar Fair has invested $47 MILLION in less than 2 years in our parks. Dont be mad... be happy that we are getting new rides..

  • dont 4 get 10.5 4 shoot the rapids

  • Are you actually jealous of this ride? Diamondback is twice the ride that this is, Intimidator is only good for it's first drop, and what's after that? Dinkly little hills and staying close to the ground, what a waste of momentum! Why even make it a giga?

  • agreed.

  • u tcan tell the g forces will b extreme look at maverick it stays close 2 the ground n its epic

  • cause kingsdominion is the record breaking park

  • Kings Island is too.

  • I'm sorry it looks cool with the teeming but the millennium force is better

  • dont know tell u ride it!

  • Cool!!!!! :)

  • yup it is who cares if there isnt much airtime. speed and a lot of turns are fun

  • @ThrillProduction: There's actually A LOT of air-time on this ride.

Do ride it and see for yourself.

  • It looks so cool! I wonder why there are OTSR's? anyone know? maybe cuz its rough on the sharps turns. LOOKS GREAT! :D

  • i thought it looked cool too but lots of people are saying it's going to be bad. probably because of alll the turns??

  • yeah prob cuz not enough airtime. oh well! lol! they may be surprised though.

  • @ThrillProduction: The turns are AMAZING.

I rode it yesterday, and everyone was so fucking satisfied.

  • recorded from the screen

  • well i didnt know how to download it. at least its one whole video. be nice thats why i didnt put liek hq or hd in the title
