thats the thing isnt it, verdi didnt write in arias, he wrote acts like giant arias in a way. the first act is the most apparent of these, but it is also easily seen in the last act, however, in the last and 2nd act, we can more easily distinguish between separate arias.

It's not really a song. It's part of the first act of Rigoletto beginning with the short duet "Partite? Crudele!".
