blue chao cocoons mean they evolve pink chao cocoons mean they turn back into eggs and white chao cocoons means they are going away and i think one of the rarest chao cocoons is the orange ones they turn your chao into a past chao like if my chao Spooky went away (he never did cuz shadow loves him) my chao ice cream would turn into him (if Spooky ever died i would put a grave for him in my garden)

@imred3345l it normally happens over a while. if u have a newborn chao and raise it with all good characters it will evolve into a "angel" chao if you raise it with all bad characters it will evolve into a "devil" chao. if you abuse the chao too much it will reencarnate or die; same if you have it a long time and dont abuse it at all, or slightly abuse it.

This reminds me of something. . . OH YAH! Did you know that if you feed your chao a heart fruit when it's a baby, then when it evolves it'll get ready to mate!

anyways i cant get mine to cocoon back to an egg (reincarnate i think its called), the first evolution is easy >.>

You just have to give the chao the right fruit.

For example - a Hero Needs Hero Fruit

A Dark Chao needs dark fruit

and a neutral chao needs a combination of both hero and dark fruit.

And i hardly give my chaos' any chaos drives or animals. They just evolve from those fruit.

it really doesn't take much effort. I have little time on my hands, homework, friends, but with an hour of the gamecube a day I got it in 2 days. All you have to do is get their stats to 18

yep, and if you have a certain stat higher than the others and over 18, then they become a different, cooler kind of chao. But yes, you have all the time you want to change what the Chao evolves into

Reincarnation. Treat a chao with care, and when it gets to the sying age (4-5 game years) it will reincarnate and become an egg if you treated it well, or die and disappear forever if you didn't.
