All right, once again for the record: this poor elephant is NOT DANCING!!!!!!
PLEASE change the title of it to something closer to the truth, like
ELEPHANT BEING SLOWLY DRIVEN INSANE BY SHITTY TRAINERS WHO DO IT TO GET MONEY FROM CLUELESS TOURISTS WHO DON'T BOTHER TO EDUCATE THEMSELVES ABOUT ETHICAL TRAVEL.
@theveganattack Watch your own race first, then f'n animals... "OMG! I am a f'n awesome human so I'll protect every f'n specie because I like to pretend being god" - theveganattack
@1squeamish elephants are extremely social, living in large groups or herds and travel on average 25kms per day. this is not crazy, tHIS ANIMAL DOES THIS BECAUSE OF FEAR OF ITS TRAINER N THEIR TORTURE("TRAINING") METHOD . THIS POOR ELEPHANTS SPIRIT IS WELL N TRUELY BROKEN.
Hello? Elephants DO NOT DANCE, unless forced to, and this poor elephant has nothing to be happy about. It is obviously perfroming a trick no doubt taught by pain and intimidation..
Asia is notorious for using cruel bullhooks to dominate and intimidate the peaceful mammals.
Please educate yourself on the serious problem of animal exploitation, and if I were you I'd change the name of this vid to something more appropriate, like "Leave the elephants alone!."
unfortunately, it may be true - but i did read an article about an african elephant that picked up a harmonica after it was dropped and started playng music on its own
Applesoda, you have every right to feel bad. This sickening and heartbreaking display of humiliation disgusts me. To think that tourists can be so clueless as to think this is "entertainment" is beyond me. Doesn't anyone else see what's wrong with this? This is not normal behavior, people! These elephants should be with their families, grazing, bathing, and socializing, not performing silly tricks for witless tourists. My heart aches for this poor elephant and her friends at that shitty camp.
So your suggestion to end extinction is to capture wild animals and put them in crappy places like this, to perform unnatural tricks for clueless fools?
How about maybe donate to groups that help STOP the poaching?
@journeyman47 Well said! Wish all these elephants were free. Some people still dont see that this is not normal behaviour for elephants. Wish whoever took this footage looked closer at the elephants skin to see the marks from torture.
@Mateoultima AT LEAST ITS A NORMAL LIFE IN THE WILD.........................I hope you will realise this is the cruelest life an animal can have. You only see what they want the tourist to see. The babies are taken from their moms at the still-nursing ages of 18 to 24 months, tethered neck-to-neck to another elephant, and are forced to learn tricks by way of punishment.

Yes. I agree, Why can't this Elephant live out in the wild where it can be poached and hunted to extinction. It's a crying shame.
