  • All Hail the Jazz Cat..As consistent as their album cover mascot.. The Rippingtons continue, after 20 years, to keep us dreaming with their unique sound. Hard pressed to find a band whose music stirs so many emotions, track after track...I look forward to owning the ENTIRE collection one day.

  • Russ Freeman, and the Rippingtons indian influence is everywhere in their music, and there is a reason for it...Freeman is of indian decent....go search yourself...but there is no question about one thing....Rippingtons RIP ass , simple as that...go find another mellow jazz band that beats these guys....won't find it...period!!

  • @squonkdh Pat matheny is good also if you haven't heard him give it a try." Last train home", you wont be dissapointed I promise. Never heard these guys before and I love the Indian flute. Great song.

  • @The506easy ...agree Pat Metheny is a musical genius!! My favorite by them and there are many, but this one is still my all time favorite...'San Lorenzo' I am sure you know it, you have to, but if you don't , I strongly urge you to go listen NOW!! You will find no other better song EVER!!
