  • Is the locking bar plastic or metal on the light?

  • This guy likes saying the word glock

  • is this a real gun?

  • It's a light. It's a laser. Why the hell did it take you more than 11 minutes to get that point across.

  • @gunwebsites what did u modify on the slide there yonder

  • you need to lube your weapons up son

  • ..So, I remove my Glock from my Glockbox then proceed in reloading my Glock by inserting some Glockbullets into my Glockclip which then goes into the Glock itself.

After doing that I initiate the Glocklock safety on my Glock and reach for my smaller Glock box to unbox and attach my Glocklight. After doing the following my Glock is ready to fire Glockbullets as I have full trust in my Glock when I need to fire Glockbullets.

  • @Ps3GamerVideos lmfao

    bravo.

  • I want this same idea with the flashlight and green laser but not for the same price.. haha.

  • Nice video demonstration. Very complete and concise. Thanks....

  • Spending half again the cost of the gun for a flashlight to clip on the front seems a little excessive. I'm in the wrong business.

  • @hadlock

Knowing what your firearm is pointing at with a reliable light that will always work is a useful item.. if you can't see the point of that you might be watching the wrong videos

  • Where did you get the OD green lower portion?

  • would this work on an M&P?

  • to me its light or laser but not both

  • Nice review, I have a glock and a sig, do you know if this light will work on my sig as well?

  • @crashtest2302

they will work on pretty much any make / model with a rail

  • very informative thank you, you helped me make a decision.

  • Very good video mate!

  • why do you spend so much time talking about the manual? sheesh

  • Loading the light with batteries is just like loading a magazine with cartridges. Cool!

  • That a G22c?

  • @Privat3Kag3

    no

  • in the field? what do you do?

  • @TheVollertron

    we mow very large lawns

  • May be a dumb question but how is it possible to emmit a small dot light without making a beam?

Like, it only shows on a surface, not from a side view.

  • Is this LED?

  • what model glock is that

  • @cgnews100

    G 35

  • Is there anywhere i can get the GTL22 used, or cheaper than 200+ dollars ? And it seems it's a problem to get it sent international on eBay.

  • @VolvoJoakim I've seen them used on the forums for ~$150 U.S. But a lot of people aren't willing to deal with the potential hassle of shipping internationally. They may also be banned in some countries; there are some ludicrous laws out there.

  • how many lumens does the light produce and what is the wave length in nm that the lazer produces

  • Thank you so much for not pointing the flash light in our eyes like so many other dumb piece of SH** FU*** that review lights!!!

"Its soo bright!! seee? (blind + seizure) hehe soOoryy to have to do that..."

  • Why are you showing it's empty when you're alone making a video?

  • @vogelbekdier97

    habit

why do you nag about something that cost you nothing, promotes safety, and is done in pretty much every video we make?

  • @vogelbekdier97 how about to avoid shooting himself ?

  • I want a gun. Just to hold it in my hands. And shooting some fruit and xbox's (:

i'm 13 and Dutch.. I'll never get one.

  • @vogelbekdier97 isnt a shotgun legal in Europe?

  • wait so this is real?

  • Glock+Light+Laser = Glghaser

  • Is the laser adjustable so it shoots on target?

  • @camo308 its right under the barrel so it SHOULD be point of aim point of impact, but no its not adjustable, but reasonably if you aim at say, an eye and it hits 2 inches above, theyre still dead. sights, lasers etc dont matter once you start shooting with a handgun.

  • i fell like an idiot asking this question but im not very familiar with glocks ... is that barrel length the standard for that model or is that a modification

  • @thatguyyoudontknow27

    Standard, just a longer model

  • Im trying to decide between the GTL 22 or 21. I like the dimable feature but I like the momentary on more. Does the GTL 22 have momentary on?

  • Well, I did what I do best - I wasted a lot of time asking questions. But the price on these tactical lights are prohibiting so I was hoping to glean all the info before making a purchase. Today, I bumped into Wal-Mart and they had a cheap laser set up for $35. I was NOT aware that one can actually set the laser for wind and height adjustments. With this knowledge, I answered all my questions.

  • I waited until your video was finished to ask you this question: When using this tactical piece of equipment, If you aim the laser ON your target, and you were to fire the pistol, how close would your bullet come to hitting the actual laser mark. Hope that made since...

  • @goofydog2

that would depend on the shooter.. ideally the dot is near or right on the point of impact of course

  • How much did this cost? Thanks

  • @goofydog2 - Never mind. I asked too soon. You said $200-$250.

  • i would like it to have disorienting mode instead... i think that might do you better for when you see the bad guy.

  • HK is the one that LOVES to sue people.

  • I have a Glock 19. Would this fit it nicely? Also where did you buy it? Thanks

  • @MrBladeDude

It fits fine, but since the 19 has a shorter barrel the light will stick out past the barrel

  • GREAT ! Review. I own mine for over two years. Still has the same set of batteries. Every Sunday gets wiped and inspected for cracks and battery level. The switch let you chose the mode, the dimer help you preserve your night vision. So it has a Xenon lamp, is not LED. No big deal, is bright enough, It is made to fit a Glock but easy to be used with any gun with a rail. Like I said, mine is over 2 years old and is awesome still. The price is good compared to others that are worst and expensive.

  • do you know if this light fits any mil 1913 rail?

  • @davealex8

    it should

  • The ending is nice...;)

  • Common problem with people making firearm video's; They move their hands around too quickly!

  • Do they make this unit with "green" laser lights?

  • @Hexcalibur

Sure.. it's up to your tastes IMO

If you have a gun shop or gun show nearby see if you can take a look at the various models

  • Any suggestions for a duty holster for the Glock 21 or 21 SF that will equip the light/laser combo? Streamlight, glock or surefire light/laser. Doesn't matter. Just need a duty holster with level 2 or 3. Thanks for the help in advanced.

  • hey does this attach to a kimber or do i need a adapter

  • great vid was looken to get for my 19

  • Do you know of an OC holster that fits that thing?

  • @clayter21 Try Glockstore; an example would be the "Safariland Model 5188 Paddle Holster" which has holsters for full-size and compact size Glocks with this light.

  • im new to guns do u have to sight in a laser?

  • nice video "GOT GLOCK?"

  • Is the slide on your glock faded or shiny? or is it just oiled? my glock 19 is matte like the xp you showed. but when i rub oil on it, it gets shiny.

  • I find tactial lights a horrible idea. While everything has its place on the battlefield(where ever it might be) but if u need a flash light keeping a little one in ur pocket is a much better idea, then on ur gun. When u are tracking sumone who is trying to kill u or evade u in a building or outside lights on ur gun r not the best choice. heres sum downfalls. Lights on guns tend to get left on too long, lights on guns put the light right at ur face, which is where his bullets r gonna go.

  • @arkangel8419 Tactical light with strobe feature?

  • @StripedTabbyCat not sure why they would have a strob on a light? i am not a fan of lights on guns anyway but i dont kniow why it would have a strob. i mean a light on a gun does have its place sumtimes but i cant see the strob feture being a benifit in combat if anyone knows let me kniow

  • @arkangel8419 Well if youve seen the movie kickass then its good going head on the enemy in the dark xD

  • @arkangel8419 Blinding the assailant.

  • @parrothead2581 thats a myth..I was at A trainign center & they did a drill where we were in a dark room then the targets had a light on them as soon as it went on we were supposed to draw and get on target, byt that time the light is off and u have to fire at the target out of 18 people there was not one person that didnt hit the target. I am not a big fan of lights on guns to begin with. while i believe they have thier place i jus think they r misused so dnt count on it blinding anyone

  • @arkangel8419 I am not a fan of light on guns either. I much prefer a flashlight in my hand in order to avoid point the muzzle at, what might be, an unintended target.

Many folks report the strobe to be quite disorienting to them, once their eyes are adjusted to the dark. YMMV. Blinding the assailant is the reason/excuse for the strobe feature I have always been given.

Maybe it would cause the bad guy to start dancing and forget about you....

  • whene you put the light on it dose it jam i have a 23 1 jam it was the ammo though

  • @DL9619

    no problems with the light

  • do you need a license to buy guns and other types of things that are used for guns?

  • Hello, I just purchase a Glock 22 4th gen. and wanted to know a website where I can buy the GTL 22. thanks and by the way very good video

  • How much does it weight the gun down?

  • @jdrdsn

I don't notice the weight but it must weigh something

  • @GunWebsites best response ever

  • I like the green polymer frame.

  • what type of glock were you using for the informational part of this video? was it the 45?

  • @jeromski76

    G22 = .40

  • @GunWebsites He only shows the 22 briefly. His main example is likely the Glock 35 (.40S&W Long slide).

  • Wouldn't LED lights be far preferable? That is, could we expect that Glock will upgrade this model to LED?

  • So for the price of a Surefire you get a laser too? What's makes the Surefire's light so much better than the Glocks?

  • @MNel86

Almost no contest between the two (apples & oranges)

The Surefire is made of aluminum, is LED, ans different / better controls,

Glock is all polymer, has a laser, and matches the Glocks better

  • Hey GunWebsites, how would this fit on a glock 17 muzzle/bezel wise ?

  • @jayluciano

Will fit fine, but the light would extend just a bit past the muzzle

  • Hey GunWebsites, I loved your video. It gave me a great look into the lights features. Very informative and helpful to me. I just got my first GLOCK and this will be my first assessory. I appreciate your efforts.

  • @steelersfan888

    Thank you, glad it helped

  • You would think that they would configure the light, so that it would start off in the brightes mode, then dim down. Especially if your using it in a self defense or tactical setting.

  • It is too bulky and complicated on the box. Prefer KISS Streamlight! 161 pages, thats alot! Great on Glock, but I would prefer my Streamlight all the way!!

  • have you seen the SureFire X400? What is your views on the X400 vs. the GTL? (also I heard lasermax came out with a Green Laser[more visible]) I do not have a glock (yet...) but I really want to get the 17. Also nice job on the review and I really enjoyed it, Oh yea JapAgg. was trying to pull your leg lol "fanatic" does have a NEGATIVE CONNOTATION. Oh yea after doing research Glock is a good choices for new shooters for the ease of clean, light weight, and it just stood the test of time

  • @

Big fan of the X400 (just cant afford one...yet)

We have reviewed them, maybe on our Gear Channel, I forget where we posted those reviews

  • you said xd in your review so i assume you have one... you kinda sound like a glock fanatic, but which would you recommend? XDm, or the Glock?

  • @ japaneseaggression

?? So if someone has a choice or prefers one brand / model over another they are a "fanatic" ??

I do not own an XDm, I do own Glocks

  • well just like i prefer Nike shoes over another brand means im a fan, so yeah you are a glock fan. is that bad? dont be so offended. thanks for answering my question!

  • @ japaneseaggression

I'm not offended, the word "fanatic" has a negative connotation, (usually) so I was defending my position

So now someone who clarifies their position is "offended" ??

You certainly bring a lot of emotion to the table in your comments

We are just trying to talk guns here.. no agenda or 'feelings' involved

  • Great review! This video realy helped me make my decision easyer. I'm haveing dificuties finding a good hulster though...What holster would you recommend for this kind of setup?

  • Love this light, except for... well, durability. Thanks to the Xenon bulbs it doesn't really live up to what I'd expect from a Glock product.

Last time I had it attached while shooting maybe 200 rounds or so, a brand new bulb broke even though it was turned off (laser only) the whole time. If that happened during a life/death-situation, that would REALLY suck...

    I wish they made a LED version and/or a drop-in LED replacement bulb - I'd switch in a heartbeat.

  • @ maosw

I often wonder why SOMEONE hasn't made a drop in LED already

  • This is a great video, you guys are awsome, by the way, I have a question, is this GTL22 too big for a Glock 19? Coz I am thinking to get one of this for my G19, or any suggestion? Please respond whenever you can. Thanks

  • @ hkone2free

It will fit and work just fine.. because of the short barrel, the light will stick out a bit

  • Thanks for your quick reply~~ =)

  • I love a black Glock:)

  • Is it harder to find a green glock?

  • it might be harder to find one on the shelf, but I bet most any dealer can order you one if they don't have it

  • Damn, you must really love tan on black guns.

  • OD green, it looks dull / tan on the video though

  • where did u get all the tan frames for your glocks? =) plz respond be very helpfull!

  • bought them that way, glock makes almost all their models in two colors

  • Nice video, lol "I Dont Want Glock To Sue Me"

  • LOL, as if they watched our videos...

  • I only have a glock 27 but plan on getting the glock 22 with a light/laser mount, but how do you holster the system. I love the blackhawk serpas but i don't think their molds accomodates mounts. any advice?

  • The 22/23 is also know to be inconsistent in reliability when using an attached light. As a result, Glock is redesigning the .40 recoil system for the 4th generation of pistols due out in a few months.

  • Will a glock 17 barrel be shorter?

    Do u have a glock 17?

Can u tell me if it looks good on 1?

Im getting a glock 17 and want to know thx man!

  • yes the 17 barrel is shorter, we have video of this light / laser on all the frames, look in the pistol or light playlist

  • O ok thx!

  • How old are you? Just curious. Thanks a lot.

  • Glock lights suck. they still use old halogen technology. plus the design of the battery compartment is silly.

Furthermore, the lights cause malfunctions on some of the Glock 22 and 23 models.

  • No, actually these lights use xenon bulbs. And I have shot around 1000 rounds through my 23 with no malfunctions and have never heard of any happening. You really shouldnt speak on issues on which you are unimformed. To do so is definatively ignorant.

  • Yes, your correct they use xenon bulbs. The point I was trying to make is thats old technology. Newer lights use cree LED bulbs. glock is still way behind in that respect.

Secondly, the Indiana state police as well as other agencies have traded their 22's for 17's due to the jams while attaching a tac light. This is well know issues and is documented. Glock has tried to address this issue by adding coils in the G22 magazines. Check streamlight's as well as Surefire's website for the disclaimer

  • You said "halogen" dipshit". They use xenon. And geez, you wrote a friggin essay. Wtf? Grow up kid.

  • Yes, as I said, my point was that they use old technology. Most tactical lights now use LED, and have for a while. More recently cree LCD. Xenon is a old technology in flashlights and/or rail mounted lights. Aside from that, the battery compartment is a poor design. And Im 32 by the way, wish I was still a kid.

  • I love Glocks, my point was that there are better options for a rail mounted light. Id only get the Glock lock if it was dirt cheap.

  • You may also chose to research the issue on your own by searching the various web forums, particularly Law enforcement. You can give me thumbs down all you like, it seems as though suddenly your the ignorant one here buddy. :)

    Have a nice day dumb-ass.

  • lol, I see you have your friend only filter enabled. I can see how this has been a problem from you in the past. You probably get a lot of hate mail for the shit you talk. I was emailing you the the claims I have made but you have "all but friends" blocked.

  • do you have to hold down the laser button? or is it a auto push type of button?

  • you can use it either way

  • Very informative review. I think I might go with the light only version.

  • How about the GTL-10? Any info on it? It fit my G19 very well, but i havent purchased yet? Thanks

  • I had a GL-10 but traded it in on the laser model

They are about the same size

  • GunWebsites: Can you recommend any Concealed Carry holster options that would accompany a Glock 19 with the GTL 22? Thanks

  • Of course there are many options (well more than one option at least) but I prefer the Bladetech, and thats what I wear / use with my Glock light

  • And that would accompany a G19 just fine?...Even with the fact that the light extends past the barrel?

  • sure, just make sure to order the correct one (they are specific to the gun / light)

  • does the laser always pulse or will it stay steedy?

  • it doesn't pulse at all, it's a steady beam

Anything like a pulse would have been due to the camera / editing / uploading

  • so is this still useable with G19?

  • yup, very much so..

I just have a few options so I leave it on the longer ones

  • Would you prefer glock laser/light combo on G19 ?

isTlr-2 or m6x better pr worse than GTL-2? They seem to be in same price range but I couldnt decide which one to buy for my glock19.. Thanks for your reply.

  • opinion only, but I like the glock, then streamlight then the M6x

  • I had a issue with mine and I think it was my fault. I used with my G19 and it got super filthy so I cleaned with Poppys#9 . On Sunday my weapon check up day, I noticed when I open the little box that the front housing of the light separated, It seems like the part unglue itself, and literally it came apart on my hands. Maybe it was Me not knowing how a solvent will affect the light housing. Glock replaced no questions asked. The light is a great investment. Keep it on my night stand for SD.

  • dang, sorry to hear it broke.. but glad to hear they replaced it so fast

    thanks for the info

  • I like it that it fist my Glock 30 sub-compact 45auto my 30 has a rail not all 30's have a rail but if ya got one with a rail its bad ass!

  • danbowski40 - it will fit on any 1913 Picatinny Rail equipped pistol. SO yes it will fit your Glock infact most guns except H&K.

  • Now you know I got 2 of these one with laser and one just the light. I love these . Still getting that Sig light u showed earlier but i love these lights!

  • can't blame you.. as much as I don't like the Sig light I am on the fence to buy one too

It's just too dang small and has too many features for the price

BTW I saw them for $139 at CTD, not the $200 I thought they were when I filmed that one

  • I understand the purpose of the warning for the laser, but if for whatever reason that Glock is pointed at a bad guy, the laser is going to be the least of their problems. =)

Great video though, I've been putting it off getting a light for the last two years, maybe I'll get one now.

  • LOL I think the warning is for the operator

  • damn! it makes so much since now!

  • sigs light is better

  • not in my opinion

  • how wen the sig light has more lums and the laser has more power then the glocks

  • I feel the Glock is better quality and construction

And the user controls are better on the Glock

  • thats cool but for my world i need a strobe function

  • and for some one like me or any one who does room to room shoot outs the glock does not have a strobe function

  • Can you explain how the strobe function helps? Is it more disorienting to those on the other side of the light? I have had a hard time finding info about this.

  • it keeps the bad guy eyas from adjusting to the light and it does not pin point were u r

  • No fucking way its nice but not better than the Glock Light!

  • Can you get that light for a Glock model 17 9mm?

  • Sure it fits all Glocks and most other modern pistols for that matter
