It's pretty simple. In Christianity, life begins at conception. You must have missed the HUGE debate where both Obama and McCain where asked this. When asked 'when does life begin' McCain said 'the moment of conception'. That thought can easily mean the the 'morning after pill' is "killing". This mindset leave absolutely no middle ground for debating. You can't say "what about rape victims?" or "What if the fetus doesn't have a brain yet?" because the moment egg meets sperm, it has a soul.

abortion is a minor issue in the presidential debates. an easy solution to this problem would be to make it a states issue. roe v. wade made abortion a national issue which contradicts our republican system. overturning that court case and let the states decide for themselves would be the best thing to do.

Abortion and Stem Cell research, though not directly are connected in one way or another. You are still ending the life or at least chance at life for that baby. Now I believe that the only real answer for abortion is adoption. I come from a rather large family.
