Good job on this round!You have strong technique & dance beautifully.I felt as though you were being very "nice" & safe with this combo tho. Use your isolations more & really attack some of the movements so there's some texture there.You got stronger from the improv to the 2nd part of the combo but I kept wanting MORE from you too.Video makes that harder so you have to put yourself out there in raw form & have the intensity needed to tell the story.BTW..Great floor work! I have a suggestion, not about your actual dancing. I feel like the jacket? you were wearing was limiting the look of your lines. Maybe if you wore something in your next video (cuz I'm sure you'll make it) that presents a cleaner line it will show you off more? Just a thought...you have my vote!

I loved your audition piece. I am not seeing the same performer in this piece. You seem reserved in this video. I need to see some more aggression overall in your attack of the movement. Not every job is going to have a soft approach to the movement. You are going to go in a room with a wide assortment of performers for any job. You are going to have to step up to the playing field. I know that you have that inside of you but I just didn't see it here. I say all this with nothing but love!

well somehow you knew how I would react, because what you said does upset me a little, though i don't think upset is the exact word. To be honest, if I could go back, I don't think I would have posted the version I did. But it's too late to go back.

I will definitely take your critism though and use it to motivate myself even more next time (if there is one) and make myself work harder. I have a question though. When I filmed this, I felt like I was more emotionally involved in this (cont'd)

Emotion is a tricking thing when it comes to a stage performance. You don't want to be too over dramatic but you still want to be true to that emotion. When I judge competitions and I see kids dancing with their face I want to barf. haha. You have a lovely quality but I just think that in this video you were a little too cerebral with the emotion. I also said you were reserved because I didn't see the fullness of the movement. It was slightly too linear with your upper body.

Oh I have definitely seen those kids and I try not to be one of them. This past year I've really tried to focus on being genuine in my emotion, but sometimes I still get to internal or I start thinking about the steps too much, which is what I think might have happened. I'll keep working on it and try to to be more real and get deeper into the movement. thanks again!
