Well, in international politics they have the exact amount of power as united states (G7, G8, G10) and ontop of that much power in the EU. They have nuclear weapons, a very strong economy and they are friendly. I care about France because they are friendly and powerful allies, so should you if you had brains.

Obama's plan, should he choose to keep it the same, will create about 300 projects of WASTEFUL gov't spending, will increase the federal budget deficit, and will make sure that Roe v. Wade is never overturned(allowing teenage girls to have an abortion WITHOUT their parents' legal consent). He is pushing for the government to take over the auto industry, which has been and should be run by the private sector. Bush failed America with the bailouts and Obama has just made it worse. Obama's plan, should he choose to keep it the same, will create about 300 projects of WASTEFUL gov't spending, will increase the federal budget deficit, and will make sure that Roe v. Wade is never overturned(allowing teenage girls to have an abortion WITHOUT their parents' legal consent). 1. He voted 4 times against the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. He has absolutely no respect for unborn or born humanity.
2. His own website says that he will conduct DIRECT diplomacy, even with America's enemies!
3. He does not support our troops--he voted against giving them $94.4 billion in critical funds. Even during his recent trip to Europe, Obama did not visit our troops stationed in Germany.
