比較するバカがいるので言わせてもらう。 ﾗｰｾﾞﾌｫﾝは途中からムーリアンであるという事実を経て吹っ­切った経緯がある。半ば強引にな。

それに対しエヴァはキャラ全てが人間味を持ちリアルっぽさが凄か­った。

そもそも世界観もキャラ設定が違う他作品を同列に考えるのが間違­ってる。

アヤトクンが好きなのはわかるがエヴァの世界観で主人公が綾人み­たいなキャラだったら絶対売れなかったと思う。それぞれのキャラ­設定が秀逸だからここまで売れたんだと思わないか？

I just had to comment after reading a few of the other comments. I've been watching anime seriously for at least 10 years. This anime is amazing. It is nothing at all like EVA...i'm surprised anyone would say that. Just because an anime has mechs or monsters of some kind doesn't mean they're all alike. I do like the anime better than the movie I have to say. I am an American, and it's not hard to understand or watch good anime. You just have to put in effort to find it. I happen to like mystery.

YES, I bloody Loved this Anime, Loved this Opening(Hemisphere), and Loved Maaya Sakamoto(ever since 'Escaflowne' in fact). RahXephon and NOIR got me back into Anime after all the Tits'n'Tentacle's Rubbish had soured me to anime in the 90's (if your a British anime fan, you know what I mean). It was strange,deep,and atmospheric, not to mention heartbreaking...oh lord was it heartbreaking...but very, very, good. Top marks and fave. *_*

You sir, are correct! Rahxephon is so beautiful too. The music..the story..the mech. And Ayato's scream is perfect. Its just something that brings out the best in the showm like the episode when he was stuck in a dream world. Probably the best episode to hear his yell at full power, lol.:D

While people usually compare this with eva, and yes there are similarities. But that's about it. Rahxephon can definitely stand on its own.

The series has a very solid satisfying plot and exceptional quality animation for a tv series. Not to mention beautiful characters with much personality depth. I dare to rank Rahxephon in the class of "Cowboy bebop", "Samurai X (ovas)", "Last Exile", "Evangelion (original)", "Planetes", "Macross SDF"...

Among greatest all time classics.

Agreed. I despise how many people write Rahxephon off as an Eva clone. There are some non important visual fronts and structure which mimic Eva but if you get down to the meat of the story they are nothing alike and couldn't be more different. This is one of the best animes of the past decade and many people wouldn't even give it a try. Shame really.

i really like the designs and drawing style of this anime. i really like anime of such type, the dorems remind me of the angels from EVA....and this song is masterpiece, nice voice, great back effect, and the music is smooth. really great job =D
