Per cercare belleza, no? Essi non sono 'di sforza', non hanno un drammatico proposito. Si, è bello, è meraviglia e genio. Se non ti piace, hai il canto trascurato di Corelli.

Carlo Bergonzi the last exponent of Bel Canto. Every aspiring tenor should listen to this, it is absolutely masterfull.I Trovatore is classified as middle period Verdi.Its not really.Its the best of the early style of Verdi operas and as Nanbil says it has more of the influence of Donizetti.Trovatore is the true successor to Ernani.
Stunning! It makes one realize that Verdi's musical style comes from the 'Bel canto' of Bellini and Donizetti. Wonderful performance. Thank you for posting.
Possibly the best, and most civilized, ben mio ever. Superb bel canto delivery, outstanding emphasis and trills...no bellowing or grandstanding here. I think Bergonzi is in a class of his own.
Superbe...et cependant la "morte a me" finale est un peu trop ouvert pour mon goût.Pas de différence entre "me" et "par"(ra).(allez écouter G.Lauri Volpi)!!

An excellent performance sung with great feeling. The trills are there too :) I just feel at some times Bergonzi's high notes are a little too weak.
