@TheSmokingArgus Wow what a retort....your vid is still crap and you are still a time waster who's entire life is so meaningless you feel the need to try and drag others down rather than doing something about it.
I truly feel pity for the sadness that must be your life.
@TheRagManSmiles Thank you for sharing your opinion, of which has not the slightest value or bearing upon my life.
Further, please do not pity me, as it is wholly unnecessary. I am blessed to labor in my life's passion and have a beautiful son who also knows and understands the value of self-worth comes from within and not from the opinions of others, who in lashing out to try and drag others down expose their own life's emptiness.
@TheSmokingArgus "self-worth comes from within and not from the opinions of others, who in lashing out to try and drag others down expose their own life's emptiness." you mean like you tried to do with this sad ass and pathetic video....you just proved my point for me...thanks!!....and I do pity you, you sad sad man .....LMAO
how many swiss bank accounts does have Mr. watson ?? you hide millions of dollars of donation ! living off peoples donations...fucking bums ! go work 8am to 5pm
Dear Mr. Paul Watson .The oil spill spreading across the Gulf of Mexico , largest oil Spill in U.S. history. Why the Sea Shepherd's crew and Paul Watson are not protesting in the U.S. waters in the Gulf of Mexico ?....you people are losers who dont want to work only smoke marijuana fucking gypies. bums..leaches of society !
how many swiss bank accounts do you have Mr. watson ?? you hide millions of dollars of donation ! living off peoples donations...fucking bums ! go work 8 t0 5 like normal people ! lazy bums ...leaches of society !!
Dear Mr. Paul Watson .The oil spill spreading across the Gulf of Mexico , largest oil Spill in U.S. history......Why the Sea Shepherd's crew and Paul Watson are not protesting in the U.S. waters in the Gulf of Mexico ?
heres how logging works, unless the land is being cleared for commercial purposes, you cut trees on a tract restore the land to what it looked like when you got there with the exception of trees then more trees are planted there for a later timber cut, they dont set fire to the and ruin the ground loggers do a good job of keeping things nice, he doesnt mention the fact that N West loggers put a couple trees in the bottom of the river beds to give salmon a better place to spawn
Usually to make a point, people play video clips of other people out of context. Here you provided it in context and the video itself makes a point against the title. He is nowhere near advocating killing loggers. He is saying that if we felt the same way about ancient trees as some people do about ancient buildings or temples then we would kill the people destroying them. He is absolutely right too.
Thats a nice generic response to someone who disagrees with the video. However Im not sure what leads you to believe I am some sort of environmental reactionary. Im not a vegetarian, Im not vegan, and you wouldnt find me out there risking my neck for a whale. But Im also not a fan of supporting things that arent true or that discredit someone people dont like because they are on a crusade against a certain movement. Watson has said some pretty outrageous things. I dont think this is one of them.
Sorry for the generic response. Nevertheless, anyone who agrees that ripping individuals limb from limb is an appropriate response, whether or not it was said as mere hyperbole is completely off their rocker.
Hinting at or advocating personal injury is not an effective strategy to bring understanding to your side.
I believe the point he is trying to get across is not to "hurt people that hurt trees", but instead, people should be protecting the things they value highly, even if they have to use what some would consider extreme measures. The problems arise when some people value things highly as a resource, and others value them highly as a part of nature.
He is talking about the value of living ancient trees, just as important as the guilded cathedrals, really much more important. The Native Americans see the mountains as their spiritual place, and yet these values are not honored by government.
Without trees, you would not be able to breath. We owe our lives to the trees.
Um great we love trees too. However, we do not believe in killing people as a justifiable way to protect trees.
Private property rights whereby groups of like minded environmentalists can get together and buy up acres in order to protect trees is a better way to recruit those to your cause, in lieu of advocating murder.
Even us evil capitalists could contribute to a movement like that.
But by all means keep defending someone who advocates killing as your message.
Buy up Acres? That is the talk of corporate business. So people with dollar signs in their brains and that is their priority have the world's fate in their ruthless, soul-less hands. no way.
And he does not advocate murder, he is making a point. How do you protect something from the money-grubbers?
Great well you keep elevating charlatans such as Captain Watson who think killing loggers is a good idea, and those of us in our neighborhood will continue buying up small parcels of land to plant trees.
We shall see who has a bigger impact.
I mean really....shouldn't you throw away your evil computer due to its awful carbon footprint? Just think how many animals were poisoned in the process of its manufacture.
Sounds like we have a hypocrite environmentalist here folks.
Actually, it's the talk of people who see themselves as change agents in the right place, their own back yards. If you're a wealthy entertainer, lawyer, author, why not purchase land and, plant trees?
Paul Watson hasn't harmed anyone in his 30 year battle and that's a fact.
And yeah he does more harm than good..... to the illegal whaling industry. His tactics are working they are putting dents on illgeal whaling quotas and preventing them from making millions off the illegal killing of whales.
Paul Watson is the man & you should kiss his nut sack.
I remember watching the reality TV show that dealt with his antics. He came across as a guy that encouraged others to do the job for him, he he took the glory.
What a Crap Vid......what a time waster.

2) you can't accuse a man who spend the majority of his life on a rusty uncomfortable old boat on rough seas of being driven by material wellbeing

They threw and threw more than 100 botteles of BUTYRIC ACID into whaling ship and theAntarctic Ocean!
Butyrice acid is prohibited to expose into the enyironment.
It might cause blindness! Three crews of whaling ship were injured and exposed to risk of blindness the day.
whalingo 2 years ago
Butyric acid does not at all cause blindness. It is completely non-toxic and the bottle aren't even aimed at the pitiful whalers.

@whalingo lemon juice is worse for your eyes than butyric acid, lemon juice is more acidic, you, are an idiot.
