Also, it is true, if the penalty for not buying insurance is negligible, many young and healthy will not buy it, unless they need it right away, It makes more sense for everybody to be legally required to buy, but for this to happen, it should be really affordable. Since the private sector will always put profit first, it is clear that only a non-profit option is the answer.
Right now we do have the public option. The public has the option to buy healthcare coverage or not. under Obamacare there is no option. The gov mandates all be on heathcare, gov under prices the healthcare companies,they take a loss from all the compaies and people jumping into Obamacare,they now have to raise the prices just to break even. The gov can always raise taxs or borrow from China(print money out of thin air) to pay the coverage. But when they have full control, to save money they cut treatments that can save your life, like the do in Canada and in Europe.

HR3200 does state that if you have a heathcare plan and they so much as change their address you are no longer allowed to use them. And being mandated you have no choice but to enroll in the Obamacare plan. If you have a plan now you can keep it, as long as nothing changes. Till won't take long you'll move,they will move,you company goes to Obamacare. That mean they make less.

1. Today's protest from the Health Insurance Industry clearly makes the case for the so called "Public Option".

Also, it is true, if the penalty for not buying insurance is negligible, many young and healthy will not buy it, unless they need it right away, It makes more sense for everybody to be legally required to buy, but for this to happen, it should be really affordable. Since the private sector will always put profit first, it is clear that only a non-profit option is the answer.

The insurance industry is nothing more than a middle man, who takes more than 46% of what you pay(including your employer contribution), and pockets it.
That means, $46 out of $100 they get goes into their pay check, bonuses, stock options, lobbying firms, vacation, golden parachutes, and that is just the insurance industry, we haven't even talked about the 36% administrative cost the average hospital has, compared to the 3% administrative cost of medicare/medicate, so who is ripping off who?!

See that "require" that's another word for mandate. See the other word in front of it, "all".
