This is so ridiculous. I remember people back in the late 90's suing the Atlanta Braves because they thought their team name was offensive against Native Americans and now it's the same thing these days with the Redskins it's just sports people! Get over it.

SI researched and concluded the 75% of Native americans approve of the name but the poll had critizism of how the poll was conducted,so an independent poll was released and and showed that 91% of native americans approve of the name.Further proof, i have a close family friend who used to live in arizona and she went to a skins vs cardinals game in the 90s in arizona 75%of the crowd were redskins fans and most of them were native americans
Screw you kosimpson they did what they can Im Native American and can vouch that that word is just as offensive as the term "Nigger" was and still is to the African American community and to anyone who gets upset over that term they should think that we are suffering the same kind of abuse not only are my brothers up in Canada getting pelted with rocks (even children) by racist Canadians and others living on ress like slaves but a racist derogatory term used since the 1500s is still in effect.
