  • If it's so smart why is it vulnerable to extinction? I saw Planet of The Apes..I know what they're capable of.

  • @DatNewNewShyt They may be smart, but we have guns, remember.

  • lol so depressed he's turned to drinking!!

  • i hate monkeys!! thyere gross!!!

  • @bunsofmolybdenum humans are gross too

  • wow so cute i really want them not to get extincted .

  • Lack of attention leads to alcoholism (0:56), save orangutans

  • HAhaha, the Orang utan drinking away it's misery! :')

  • Gorillas are not classifed as monkeys - they, along with chimps, bonobos and orangutans are Great Apes. Gibbons on Lesser Apes. Monkeys, like the mandrill, have tails. An ape is not a tail-less monkey.

  • aw :(

  • LOL at the last part, its so sick, lol orangutan jus drinkin from his bottle

  • Technically gorillas are the largest monkeys. Yes, gorillas are monkeys.

  • @MidwinterSon gorillas are apes, are they not?

  • @Fenhawk11 Yes, and so am I....

  • @MidwinterSon Gorillas are apes. Apes don't have tails.

  • @saranghaeyo99 Gorillas are apes and do not have tails, yes. An ape is a tail-less monkey, but a monkey never the less.

  • @MidwinterSon

    Apes aren't tail-less monkeys.

They're classified in a different genus than monkeys.

If you're calling gorillas and chimpanzees and other apes monkeys, than in essence, you're also calling humans monkeys; we are also apes and have 97% of the same genetic structure as chimpanzees.

  • @saranghaeyo99 Apes ARE tail-less monkeys. And "ape" is not a genus, its a superfamily containing the lesser and the great apes. And yes, I'm a monkey...

at least according to real biology in which species are classified according to phylogenetics.

  • @MidwinterSon

I never said that "ape" was a genus.

I only said that apes were classified in a different genus from monkeys.

And I just realized how pointless it is to fight over monkeys and apes xD

Boredom does strange things to people...

  • @saranghaeyo99 Sorry if i missunderstand, but is not the same thing to say that apes are classified in a different genus from monkeys as it is to say that they belong to different genuses and therefore they are two genuses (sorry I'm from Sweden XD)?

  • @MidwinterSon

LOL yeah it is (And no problem lol)

And yeah I guess that is true, because that's why people had that whole controversy about whether or not people were derived from animals such as chimpanzees and gorillas.

  • @saranghaeyo99 It might at first glance seem like something pointless to discuss, but if you think about it is one of the most important things as our own biology in many ways determine what we are and why we do what we do. I mean this is not just other species we are talking about, we are talking about ourselves.

  • @saranghaeyo99 well, i think apes are pretty smart. not albert einstein genus, but pretty smart :]

  • 3RD

  • looks like my cat
